seeding w/ 400w MH

i know that is stupid, but thats that is the bulb i bought. so how far should i keep them from the light.

far enough that heat won't get them, 400w mh it not that much compared to 1000

alright, i was worried cause someone that 400 would fry them. you think two feet would be good

you need to start somewhere you can all ways move the light,

mount the light and then put your hand at the tops of the plants. If you cannot keep your hand just above the plants your light is too close and it will burn the leaves. The top of your hand should feel nice and warm like on a bright sunny day, it may take some minor adjustments but you'll find the right height.

I put my 400 at 20 inches. It seems to work with my setup.
