hey any body have any suggestions? I have a few little plants but this one and another not as bad started curling up and getting a little yellow. I didn't know why because the last seedlings i started dyed also. I have them in solo cups with mg organic under five cfls been watering about every day because the soil seems to get really dry. The temps stay at about 80 above the lights but i have a couple fans directly on the plants. i dont know if im forgetting anything but anyone have any ideas ?:eyesmoke:

its really hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like heat stress. its probably too hot in your box. i killed my first batch like that. do you have a thermometer?

yeah i have one but i dont even think its working righti need to get a digital thermometer im trying to find another perfect size fan to put in i have a mrgrow box ieven wanted to put more lights in it. its real cold in my room usually and the thermometer always stays right around 80 that why i need to get a digital but some of them look fine just got a two that look like that. i thought it might be the soil because i heard alot of people having problems with mg organic getting compact and hot but i put my hand under the lights and its not to hot.

I had a retarded plant growing with a batch of 3 La confidentials. the one grew retarded as hell, so instead of throwing it away i figured put it outside until i decided what to do with it since it was still your size. a week later it doubled in size then regular leaf patterns started developing. it ended up male anyway, but it did suck. you only have the one growing?

i have four solo cups with some more than likely female seeds from some really good smoke from my dude that grew it. ive grown before but only with hempy buckets. kinda cant go outside im in ohio and its starting to freeze here. but i really dont think its to hot should i atleast lift up the lights till they grow some more leaves? i like this box a lot im trying to figure out how to rig more lights and two little fans or one a strong.

hmm maybe blow the fan on the bulbs if you can. cool the bulbs down, lowers the temp. if thats the problem that is. you might be over watering it. i have my little ones in solos and wait every other if not every 3 days. every 3 for smaller and 2 for the bigger babies. stick your finger down in the soil a couple inches. if its slightly damp its fine. if its dry as crap, water it.

good call dude im gonna try that it might just be that i thought it was dry because the way the top of the soil looked. think im gonna give them an extra day before i water this time and see how they look. im trying to get these clones but im gonna work on these seedlings untill then got a few more germinating because i mine as well use all my space. there are two pc fans blowing on them and i really dont think it gets that hot inside plus if im trying to rig another fan side to blow the heat from the lights up to the exhaust

yeah dude i hope that helps. this stage of life is i think the most delicate. lots of things could go wrong haha. but the first half inch of dirt will usually dry up. thats fine.

Yeah man I have some germinating right now, gonna add a few more theres been so much good bud with a few seeds going around just gotta make sure I get a lady. I used to use nothing but clones so this early atage of life is new to me. I got a big bag of perlite to mix in with that soil too think it might help from getting so compact

Dont have the fan directly blowing on the plants. You want airflow, but any wind with them that little will hurt them more. They will spend more time repairing than growing bigger. Always let the soil dry out, not sure if your soil has any nutes, but if it does, they may be to harsh for seedlings. Make sure you ph your water, 6-6.3 is good for soil. I use 3 26w CFL's for lighting, thats all they need for a month. I usually give nutes after 1 week old. Hope this helps, it was has been working for me.
