I have been trying to grow for about 6 month now and every time the same thing happens. At first the plant is very nice dark leafs but when the 3rd set of leafs are going to be born the bottom leafs die. and when the next set is born that last will die

This time the leaf is alredy yellow and only on 2nd day
temp is 72 - 78
light is CLF 65w and only 2 inches from light
light is very cool no heat at all.
lots of fans
soil is 1 peat moss to 2 perlite
no nutrition just distiled water, with ph adjust to ph 6.9 - 6.8

extra water run off came out 6.5ph

I tried 2 strains from diffident stores, but always get same resaults

Ive grown before it was so easy. now I cant get a seedling to start please help, I need good bud.

here are my other try

6 months !!! and you did`t try to start them in another grow medium or use some nuts ?

I bet a good basic soil mix could solve your problems that or a good nutrients line, sounds to me like they get non or very little food as it will "steal" the food stored in the fist/older leaf`s to help the new grow if it cant find it in the grow medium ..

I think the medium is the issue. I've had great success with popping seed's using Fox Farm Light Warrior, PH water and use that instead. Such small investments pay off sometimes.

They are starving! Go to Walmart or such and get some seedling mix, or something like light warrior. Personally I just mix my ff Ocean Forest 50/50 with coir and all my seedlings do fine.
Hope this helps

I was told that a seedling only needs water. I have nuts from advance nutrition organic. On my 2nd try every one told me not to use it until 3rd or 4th node at 20%

They are only 2 days old, does every one agree Randm?
Should I give nuts at 20%

How are you planning to grow these on?

One sure-fire way to get off the ground will be to purchase a bag of regular potting compost and transplant your seedling.

The potting soil (NOT just PEAT MOSS) will be a good mix and you WILL NOT need to feed for about 3 weeks.

edit;

Ive just had a look at your other grows...

I would not use too much perlite in a potting soil, just a sprinkle. The soil should have enough aeration within itself.

Peat moss should only be used by experienced growers who know how to mix their own soils. (Peat moss is often found in shop bought potting compost anyhow)

Edit:
If you have any more questions or thoughts just let me know, no problem. Goodluck.

Also .... Why distilled water ???

edit:

I would try using regular tap water WITHOUT any pH adjustment.
Once you get a bit more experience then think about dialing in these variables.

Jiffy starter mix is cheap.. Light warroir is another good one for babies. Then I move to a good organic soil with 30% perlite. With distilled water and peat/perlite they have zippo.

You could try transplanting into a good soil mix. That would be what I would do. Trying to continue growing in that is , for a newbie, an exercise in futility. Go ahead and try a light dose of ferts if you want, who knows, they may recover. Just chaulk it up on the experience chart and move on if it fails. If cost is the problem, then Walmart or Home Depot have decent starting mixes very cheap.
