I'm pretty new to growing, but I've noticed that a few seeds never made it. I was wondering if there was a good way of doing this. I germinated the seeds until I could see a some roots and then I would put them in using a knife to push the seed with the root down first into the presoaked rockwool. I would squeeze the rockwool before doing this so it wouldn't be too much water. After that, I would put some rockwool over the hole.
Is there a better way, like...make the hole this by this big and put a layer of thin er thick rockwool over it or...put a layer made out of parts that way the seed comes out easier or...make sure the rockwool is always wet before it comes out or? I don't know, but I hate wasting seeds and rockwool T-T!!
