Seedling to Aeroponic question.. Quick HELP!

I'm not lazy, I have searched this topic, but all the answers I have gotten are different.

I'm using 2" net pots in my aeroponics system (stinkbuds design). I germinated my seeds in rapid rooter plugs with bacto peptone powder.

I understand that I will need to carefully remove the seedling from the rapid rooter plug, insert it into a neoprene and into the net pot.

I understand that I need to wait a few days and feed only water, then gradually increase my nutrient solution to about 1/4-1/3 my feed recipe.

What I can't seem to get a solid answer on is how mature does the plant need to be, how long does the root need to be before I transplant etc..

I have a couple of plants that were germinated just 3 days ago and are already sprouting their first true leaves and the roots are already a good 1/2 -1" outside the rapid rooter. They are growing like they are on steroids.

I have seen everything from transplanting them when the root is just poking through.. to waiting until the root is over two inches long.. Which is it?

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

if you have a basket for aero setup you shouldn't have to worry about it but if you are wait for your seedling to get taller then take a clone off the top and put it into your aero system or cloner witch ever one you have.

I haven't tried germing seeds, but cloning has been great in super starter cubes which are placed into small net pots. I have placed them in a DIY bubbler until a nice golf ball size root mass develops, then transferred into HPA
