Seedlings at day 10

Hi:leaf:

First grower here, I have 3 autos here, but at day 10 in the soil they got this far, cant tell if this is normal. What I've seen they should be much larger.
Cant tell what I'm doing wrong or just thats the way the seeds are.
I gonna transplant them outside, but for now I'm using 2x35W CFL lights, at the heigh of 10cm, Humidity is around 50-60%, temps 25-28C, I dont really have control over that last two. I water them with slightly acidic water (6Ph), the soil is neutral. They are about 3 cm tall.
They look fine, im just worried about the speed of this, since its gets cold here in Sept/Oct - I'm gonna be using a greenhouse.
Any suggestions?

thanks :)

You are going to need larger pots.

I will move them outside once I know they strong enough, and atleast have a few real leaves. Thats the plan anyway.

You need more light........and the windowsill won't get it.
Very small for 10 days old.
I just put them in the window to take a picture. I have them under the lights for 16-18 hours.
So you think that even for seedlings the light output is not enough?

They’re small but look good I would just follow the above advice they’ll need bigger pots to grow bigger in and better consistent lighting and you’ll move right along
I really dont want to transplant them twice, I wanna keep this until they are large enough, so I can plant outside direct into the soil. Which shouldnt be too far.

I think they yellowing is a cause of my CFL lights are starting to lack power for these guys. I'm gonna move them outside during the weekend, I hope the sun heals them :)

Start them under sunlight for just 30 min to 1 hour at a time at first. You need to "harden" them off to the much stronger light of the sun, from what they are under now.

What region are you in? It's a bit late to be transplanting seedlings outside here, late August to early Sept some strains are already finishing up.. I'm not sure what I would expect from a seedling being transplanted outside this time of year around here.

Got it! I'll probably use a net above them, for a minimal shade.

I'm at Eastern/Central Europe and yea it is late, I'm aware. I still gona try it in a greenhouse.
