SEEDLINGS DONT GROW ! +REp

okay so im no noob ive done probly 6 grows with over 20 plants but ive encounterd a problem. none of my seedlings EVER grow past 2-3 cms tall UNLESS im actually growing them indoors or outdoors when the "season" is here so in other words in winter i cant grow weed even if the temps are in check!

okay so here are my details.

im growing in a thin but tall closet.
temps =66-77 Farenheit / 19-26 Celcius mostly sits at 73F/23C.
humidity is fine averages about 50 RH
my watering is fine once every 3-4 days.
my soil ph is in check and i have also tryed 3 different soils but still no Cigar
um using 2x65 watt fluros.

i have also tryed 4 different strains and still none of them get past 2-3 cms tall, they look fine and they have only there first set of little leaves"ones after the cotyledons"
i need help guys + rep for helpful advice, im starting to think its because of the seasson moon/cycles thats stopping my plants from growing haha

i forgot to mention if i get givin plants that are allready on there 4-5 node like 2 weeks old they do fine ! so only the seedlings really suffer.if i was to put a month old plant in there it would grow fine.

its not bad, to each his own.
i feel like my plants look tired and stressed when i do 24/0

small closet grower.
perhaps another solution to your problem rather than fixing the one at hand is clone instead of starting from seed.
have you tried that yet? you might get better results.

ok, well my first guess is that the grow room gets quite cold for the 5 hours the lights are off, this stunts growth. Second guess is that the enviroment isn't humid enough and third guess is that the lights aren't close enough. Try adjusting everything to correct <that.. just remember that seedlings have barley any roots and 2/3 week old plants can survive slightly tougher conditions

I'm also on 19/5 with 2 half hour breaks inside the 19hours (I guess it's more like 18/6), all the lights shut off and the fans stay on, one of my seedlings seems to love that, the other one still hasn't adjusted....

my lights are close.and no my temps dont drop much at nite because i have my lights turn off during the day so temps are still good.humidity isnt a issue here 50 rh is fine.

i have some clones now and they are just growing like a cm a week but i fucked up and cut them off when they were 4th week into flower so i cant really compare.u dont know how fucked up it is that i cannot grow weed its fucking killing me.i think i need to call up my local hydro and bring him in lol

ok, my last suggestion it to try growing the seed in rockwall to start off with, if you're not doing this aslready. then once the roots appear then put it into soil.

hey thats not such a bad idea , + rep. ill buy a jiffy pellet and a rockwool cube + coco and see if they get 2 sets of leaves then that would be a record lol. cos it might have something to do with the soil

im a smoker im just thinking wether or not it might have something to do with the nicotine on my fingers ...but if that was the case then they wouldnt brake the soil at al yeah?!..

cheers... well i'm not to sure the nicotine would have too much effect if any, but it is another variable, so try wearing latex gloves, when handling the seeds, but yea, go for rockwall, coco and jiffy's and see if that helps a bit!

Are you using nutrients?

What size pots?

Are you watering thoroughly and allowing it to dry?

lol true , i have them in beer cups i water every 3 days , no nutes ofcourse

Do they need watering every three days?

i wait till the tops completely dry although there is still some moisture in the bottom.

Maybe you should look into getting some more lighting?

i got a 250 hps , but 120watts is heaps for seedlings.anywho ill try out the rockwool jiffy pellets and some in coco and test them, ill keep everything really clean and see how it goes ... i just put the seeds in water then 6 hashbomb and 3 thia spice.
