Seedlings under a MH?

I don't have the room to run an MH and a fluorescent, so I just have to stick with the MH only. The area under the MH is 84F and the humidity is 28%. The vegetative plants are doing great, and I've got some seedlings on day 14 that are right next to the veg plants that are doing good too. One seedling is messed up, and I read in a thread here that might be because of heat stress (more water is evaporating from the leaves than the little roots can supply).

Here is a picture of the mutated one...

Those are supposed the be three fingered leaves, but one is 1 finger and the other is 2 finger.

Anyways, I have some LA Confidentials that just broke the ground a few hours ago. I want to do everything possible to make sure they do okay. I just put them in a humidity dome and I'll spray the inside of it every few hours to keep the humidity up.

Is there anything else I can do for the LA Confidentials? I have been really looking forward to this strain, I don't want to mess up while they are still babies.

Thanks.

Looks like a genetic thing. I wouldnt worry too much about those small leaves. For example; I have a strain of Island Sweet Skunk that has 4 and 6 leaf "fingers" ! Give your plants some time to get bigger. They look like they will be ok.! Also...after seedlings have broke ground, the dome is no longer necessary as the seedlings can absorb water through their newly developed roots! Too much humidity can be detrimental if powdery mildew takes hold at this stage! GOOD LUCK thegrowschool.com

my HPS is hot and have the same temp i still keep my seedlings under there but after I water the soil whenever and it gets dry I spray the soil to keep it wet and it works for me

But a seedling that just broke the ground has a very limited root system, and can't replace the water as fast as it evaporates. What the other guy said makes sense.

Just to clarify for everyone else, I'm not asking about the plant in the picture. Just posted that to show the stress on those seedlings. The ones I care about are some LA Confidentials that just broke ground.

So does anyone have experience growing seddlings under an MH? Is 84 too hot for seedlings?

The seedlings in the humidity dome always have water droplets forming on them and I always have to wipe them off. Can something bad happen to them from the water droplets being on them all the time?

Anyone have any suggestions about what to do with these seedlings?

I took the humidity dome off, but I've still got this problem..

Does anyone here have seedlings that grow okay in a similar environment under a HID that is not air cooled?

Give the young ones some shade.
Fabricate something from some printer paper. Some light will get in but not full strength. It'll help a lot.

I set mine on top of the hood. Keeps them warm and out of the direct light. My hood is vented and warm, not hot though.

I have a 400W MH for veg, and ill put seedlings under it as well, but keep them further from the light until they get established

If you have them too close it can roast em
