Seedlings with deformities

Hello,

I recently planted seeds about a week ago. They are all sprouted now, but some of them are showing weird deformities and holes in them. I don't believe this to be normal. I have attached some pictures. I see no signs of pests.

I'll add this.

Seeds were feminized. Plants are from humboldt seed organization. Strains:
Bubba kush 2.0
Bubbas Gift
Mango Saphire

Growing in coco/ewc blend. Fed with plain RO water to start. Temperature is 75-78 degrees with RH at 40-60%. Let me know if any other details are needed. Thanks

The one that looks like wings reminds me of one I am growing right now - she was a slow starter, with deformed and cramped leaves in the beginning, and stayed that way, but is making beautiful buds now smelling of grapes, nicer than her more extroverted sister! :p
So not to worry about that one, it'll grow out.

The holes though, no idea! :bigjoint:

Thanks for the response !! Calliandra

Yeah I haven't popped seeds in a long time, but when I did I never had holes in the seedlings ever.

Hopefully someone knows! Or hopefully it's nothing major at all. I also have predator mites in that room, because of broad mite issues in the past. But it does not look like broad damage at all. I wonder if the predator mites feed on leaves. I'll ask the scientist at koppert if the predators eat on foliage if no broads or other food sources are available. I don't think predators do that, because I've never had holes in leaves in the past.

I would definitely do what Hotrodharley suggested and check your ph. Those holes don't look like they're caused by pests; they look as though they're starting out as small yellow spots and turning into holes. What's the ph of your RO water?

What kind of lighting are you using? If you're using HPS lights, could you have small water droplets on the leaves? That could burn small holes in young leaves.

Hey @Rporter56567 - how are they developing? Is the new tier of leaves coming clear?
I was just looking at the pics again and saw some specs on the wingy one -- was that just dirt?

Hey. @calliandra

They grew out of it, and are all looking fine now. My filter on my RO was bad, and the water PH was very high. So I changed the filter and they started to turn around completely. But my tent at my girlfriends is having some trouble, I am going to start a new thread for it as it is a different problem.

Thanks for everyone's help and input! Rollitup community is amazing :)

Could be either there are too many nutes in the soil for babies retarding them or poor quality unstable genetics and breeder.
