Seeds and mites

Depends on how fast the seeds are traveling. Also depends on if seeds are rolling or just driving around. If rolling at 10mph and weighing in at .1g with a radius of .175” a seed would have an angular velocity of 6408 RPM, tough to hold on in my opinion
I would say the seeds were traveling no faster than 70mph. Also the seeds were secured in a little case with foam, which would prevent rolling and possibly provide a comfy ride for the mites.

Many growers will change clothes before going into the grow space. Which is smart.
It wasn't the seed company that caused your mites issue. More than likely it was the vegetation all around you.

Thanks guys I am aware of that. And I don't have a mites issue as far as I know. But I'm specifically asking if anyone has scoped seeds and found mites or knows if transmission by seeds is possible. I have read in the past that mites can lay dormant for quite a while, not sure how true that is.
