This might seem pretty dumb, but which way does the little white sprout point whny your plant it, up or down?

Not sure if it's the root or the actual plant.

its the root. when u bury it and put it under the light it will find the surface.
if you dont know.. up or down. put it sideways it always worked for me

dude it points down, its the root system if you haven't already planted it then plant it with the white sprout down towards the bottom of your pot.

i concur with that, your sprouts will come up much sooner if planted proper, otherwise it will take longer to find it's way.

Only piece of advice i can give you is don't rush (i did with my first plants and they were crap i burnt them with nutes, overwatered them and stretched them.) The more time you take the more likely your plant will repay your kindness and effort with some nice, fat, potent buds :D :D

I heard that it can either be planted down or on its side bcuz the plant detects gravity and knows up from down.

Hey... my first ones died... i went away, read lots, took advice and i now have 2 beautiful plants that are looking female and unfortunately have drooped a little one week into flowering. Lots of love and attention should sort them... that's all you need...

love them and they will love you in return... :-)

peace out dude and best of luck

i read to plant the tap upward, this is supposed to stimulate the roots and give u a bigger root ball. the main thing is not to plant too deep. u can always add soil to a spindly sprout
