Seeds or clones!? How to prep for an outdoor season?

Man I dunno I probably average like $10 a fem seed... that’s like $2000 just on seeds :/
Exactly, I mean, obviously 2 grand is a drop in a bucket when you consider what 200 seeds would do for you but still, and with moms I'd assume you have to start a mom, take 10 clones and make those mothers so you can take 20 cuttings off each around the same time so they are all relatively uniform. I dont mind going down either road, I'm just wondering what the people that do this every single year do to prepare and what they have found to be the most efficient way.

Look at some of @doublejj threads. He does what you are asking

You're only limited on how many cuts you can take by the size of your mothers. Handful of mother plants that are topped a few times and trained can go a long way. I have 2 mothers right now that are only about 2ft square and I could probably go pull 30 clones off of each right now.
I'd plant like 10 mothers from seed, toss any runts, manifold them, and grow them out for a while.

You can make your own seeds you can get like over 600 seeds from a big plant but you would want to find good genetics and have a sealed room for pollinating
