Decided to only germ one seed for now as the final grow area is being bought and built. Above ground took about 72 hours. Looking healthy so far. As much as a seedling can I guess. Moved to a more humid area with about 20 lux for where it sits currently. Went with way more perlite for the seedling and hoping it works out. Above alfrouns, but still has not popped shell. Will update probably update later today.

I think she's looking pretty good. I think getting the photo plant up to week 4 taught me a lot. I'm no expert obviously, but I would really suggest anyone starting invest into learning and understanding at least a little about lux and other aspects of light and light measurement.

Day 4

Abandoned plant for Las Vegas for a day. Stem grew to about 3" while I was gone. Transplanted into a mix of potting soil and perlite to a 50/50 ratio. Also placed to 6" from the light.

What kind of light u using? How far above plant. Look just let it grow, absolutely no fertilizer at all for 2 more weeks. You need a ppm meter and a pH meter cheapest is Amazon. You can both for $25 to $30. That way you can test how strong your fertilizer is before you use it. If you dont get those meters your gonna have a guessing game grow. That sucks.

I am just letting it grow. Have to deal with 110° temps currently so I can't just let them sit there. Have to keep moving fans and lights. I have the light, but real struggles keeping temps down.

Learned a ton about growing in general and growing in my heated climate from my random photo seed. I have a new respect of those that already do this and more on that to those with much success. I've broken down, as I'm sure many have, and moved this Auto Lemon into the house. I'm now running a 65w GE grow bulb about 8" away and air and medium are hanging around 80° even just in the 24 hours I moved her in I can already see her set of true leaves starting to expand, along with my knowledge. Will continue to update going forward.
