Ok so I lack the confidence in my growing skill set to just know off hand that what I am doing is right. I have not grown since before LED lights were a thing so it has been a while. I have what I consider a really great starting point and would just like to explain my setup and see if some others with more knowledge and experience in this area will guide me a long or let me know I am just fine doing what I am doing. I enjoy growing photo period plants and I will eventually work into autos but only photos for now.

Let's start with the set-up
6x2 grow tent I built out of pvc and mylar panda film with a 6 foot ceiling
There will be 2 or 3 canna plants (depending on my needs), and basil and tomatos in their own pots (all from seed and all same soil)
Fox Farms Ocean Forest and the Liquid trio (big bloom, tiger, and grow big)
Great White Mycos
fabric pots in various sizes up to 7 gal
2x Mieemclux 1500W LED grow lights
I have a unlimited supply of distilled water so that is not a problem
I have a basic heater, a humidifier, and fans according to what problems I encounter (Tent is wired up to handle a ton of energy usage)
I dont have a carbon filter or duct fan yet but I also am not even 1 week in and have plans of ordering soon
I also have all the normal extras PH meter for water and PH up and down, thermometer and hygrometer combo, etc

I have traditionally always germinated seeds directly in the soil and then transplanting later. I plan on keeping everything as organic as possible and will experiment with compost teas but while I am getting my feet back in the dirt I am just gonna stick with his turn key fox farm system.

A little External info about the enviroment. It is a semi controlled enviroment (garage) and I live in Illinois so I am kinda worried about that
Thank you for reading my essay haha
Any tips about things you may have encountered or experienced would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you're about ready to go. One note though; with RO or distilled water, you'll need extra Ca and Mg, so pick up a bottle of Calmag and add it into the nutrient mix each time you water.

You’re ready to rock n roll. I would caution using the trio with FFOF. It has plenty nutrients in it already, just add water and maybe some blackstrap molasses ( unsulphured ) for micro benefits. Other than that, let the games begin!!! GL
