Hey. Im new to growing. I got the seeds to sprout and start to grow but now the leaves are yellowing and sagging and im not sure why. I started them off in jiffys that were origonally soaked and then i sprayed them two times a day with new water. only misting not soaking. Ill post some pictures but im not sure what im doing wrong. I am using an LED at 5600k running at about 35% brightness a foot away. during the day i take them outside for direct sunlight. any thoughts?

It looks like they are humgry and too far from the light. Those little Jiffy seed starters don't really have any nutes to speak of.
I believe that the best thing to do now is get rid of the netting that holds it together and put it in some mild but good soil. The netting will restrict the root growth and the plant will suffer for it. Be careful removing the netting so as not to disturb the root any more than necessary.

Ill give this a try i have a light mix by BIO-BIZZ. ill let you know how it goes.!
Added 5L of soil and lightly sprayed the top layer with water. the soil already felt damn so I didnt add too much unless you think otherwise.

That's a lot of soil for that lil seedling. You're probably going to end up overwatering. Seedlings don't need a whole lot of water. Do you have any bottled nutes?

If you want to you can add some soil up to about 1/2 inch below the first node and it will take root and make a bigger root ball. That's not necessary but it helps.

Like what @Hollatchaboy said, watch the water. A 16 once Solo cup is what most peo[ple use start their plants when using soil. They stay in them until there is a well developed root system and then moved to a larger pot.

Those cotyledons provide food and if they were hungry they would yellow first.

Good point. Stems would probably be purple as well.
So cover more of the stem right?
I have the BIo-Bizz try pack which contains fish-mix, bio-bloom and top-max.
When i switched it to the 5l pot i didn't add water just a light spray right where the seedling is since the soil is moist already. I could swap to a solo cup i just don't want to move them too many times. I could do that method withe the other two tho
Its a normal LED Light nothing special. Its not full spectrum but has adjustable Kelvin. I have it at 5600K I also want to state I started this grow on the 18th of last month so they are almost 14 days old for reference.

I can't see how this can be from a lack of food, given how it looks.
There's only two options I can see
1, hot soil frying it.
2, too much light frying it.
A link to what light you have right now would be helpful.

I feel like they might be 18w each, but its not that clear.
That would be OK for starting seeds but not for much else.

its now a grow light but this is it.
ill upload new pics shortly but i transplanted the two others into solo cups with the new soil. The cotyledons are starting to be yellow. i posted the link to my current light above
