self induced flowering at 19 days from seed?

Hey hey.

So I've been growing some bag seed in a cfl micro grow for 19 days.

I looked closely at my plants today and realized what I thought was new leaf growth starting to sprout may be something else.

I've been on 18/6 with 2 27w daylight cfls and 1 23 watt softlight in a pc grow type set up.

Not sure if this is enough to determine male or female, any ideas? Trying to figure out why the plant started flowering and the other two have not.

Here are some close ups of the cola??

Thanks

It looks like just another set of leaves to me, if your lights are always on 18/6 you shouldnt start flowering but im not 100% on that just like 99% ha
my first grow i thought almost every set of new leaves was a bud ha, sometimes they look like it, just give it a few more days and you should be able to tell what it is

Are they from the same seed???Because I started flowering at like 20 days and 3 of them showed sex at like after seven days, one fem 2 males.. and the fourth one refused to show sex till like 3 weeks(ended up female )all bagseeds but two where from same bagseed and the other two where diff seed, so maybe it could be that some plants wont show sex until a certain time frame??

Thanks for all the responses people, I really appreciate it. Not trying to argue, just explain, but I think it HAS switched to flowering because of the white hairs growing where I'd usually just see new leaves. But any ideas why this would have happened, because i haven't deviated from my light schedule ever.

And i hadn't planned to flower them for another couple weeks.

Annnd is there anyway to get her back into veg??

These are all random bagseeds, no idea what strain or even if they're from the same dub sack or not. I hadn't considered an autoflowerer, maybe thats what's going on.

Sorry to tell ya man but I think your plants might be f'cked. Any plant that size in which the growth tips have started turning into pistils means no more vegetative growth and minuscule amounts of bud. From those pics it looks like it has switched to flowering, not simply showing its sex.

You don't know what the genes of those seeds were.. There could easily be some unstable auto-flower gene due to its (probably accidental) pollination from another male or any other unstable crossed traits. Anywho, those seeds aren't supposed to be in your sac so you should question their quality.

IMO, Unless you're really attached to those plants or you don't have any seeds handy, I'd start over again with something that actually grows like weed should :)

:peace:

While the above are wise words, I say, what's the harm in letting it go and see what happens?

Worst-case scenario, it's a great lesson in "wtf is my plant doing" situations, and yet another story about wacky bagseeds :D

Best-case scenario, you get a couple small buds. Hey, nothin' wrong with that! :)

i didnt see any hairs or anything but maybe i didnt look hard enough or i cant "see into the crouch". when my plant started growing new sets of leafs (around 18-20 days like yours) i was convinced at first they were the beginnings of pistils one day, then the next they looked like male plant (genitalia?) maybe. but with in a few days they were deff itty bitty little leaves, which are adoreable by the way. i still think its too young to tell, honestly but ill look again. put em on 18-20 hrs of light for a few days, just keep an eye on them and see how big the hairs or leafs get

Ahh, you've hit the same thing I've encountered before. Yes, that is female. Also, from there, it's likely got ruderalis genetics in it. You're going to get small buds from it but they'll be decent to smoke if you treat them right!

i guess i see a few maybe hairs... just keep the light longer for a little to see if she gets bigger before you louse veg and confuse the little girl.

Awesome answers.

Since this is my first grow (and I'm not even sure if any of the three bagseeds are related) I'm gonna stick with my 18/6 veg lights until the other two either switch to flowering or hit about 5 weeks.

It would be a good first timer lesson, experience at least. I'm gonna try and LST it and get something out of the grow. I figured I'd do this wiith bagseed before I made my own purchase :) Thanks for all the help ppl!
