This seedling 2 weeks old is a dinafem supersilver (attitude freebie) she started out looking normal then the growth really slowed down and now she is back to growing good again she is in FF ocean forrest under a 400 watt MH set for 18/6 has had no nutes other than whats in the soil, she appears to be healthy, just curious as to what would make her split or self top wich may not really be a bad thing.

Probably some sort of minute trauma or damage after germ, too small to spot but enough for a sensitive seedling to react. The fact that it paused its growth for a bit sounds like it was recovering from something, much like a topped plant. I'm just pleasantly surprised for you that so far she (fingers crossed) seems to be taking it well for a baby with no true leaves. Good vibrations all the way.

I've seen plants do that before. I recently grew a fools gold plant that grew 3 branches, then a fan leaf on the main stalk.
