I am horrible at searching for information on here... searched for about 2 hours reading posts lol. figured just making a new post may work best so here it is!
I would love to try subcool's super soil and will be doing so this summer! but i would like to use self watering pots so i do not over water and so that i may leave my house for extended periods of time and my house sitter doesn't have to know anything except water until it pours out the overflow hole.
using the method for the DIY self watering 5 gallon buckets or 18-45 gallon totes, the water wicks from the bottom to the top. Will the supersoil still work just fine? or will it wick the nutrients up to soon and hurt the plants?
planned on doing a few indoor in 5 gallon buckets and some outdoor in 18 gallon/30 gallon/45 gallon to see which would work best for my green house the next year too.
thank you
