selling to an informant

So recently my wires boss has been looking for vicodins. He says he has 60 bucks for however many I can get him, which is either a noob mistake or a cop. I helped him out once. He paid 30 bucks for 10 325 mg vics, than gave a huge bud too for helping him. Thing is he doesn't smoke and his "friend" dropped off the money and bud. Luckily the only roll I played in this was getting it,my wife did all the rest. She said she didn't see him take them but said he was itching all through his shift.

My questions are:
Can an informant give weed in Exchange?
Can an informant take some of the product?
And can they get you for just one deal?

I have not dealt with this guy again for this reason and I've been tweaking ever since!
Please help!

that is a simple way to look at the big picture.:roll:

just don't do business with the guy. gut feelings are not always right, but in this case think about what
you risk vs what you gain.

Trust your gut...if it's uncomfortable leave him alone and say, "I'm through doing that and so is my wife". Case closed...no pun intended.

When they do "buys" they are not far away, they search the guy or gal and make sure they have nothing but money on them, they watch them as they meet and or go in your house, as soon as they come out they watch and follow them to a spot they then get out and they get the stuff. No they can not give you drugs for drugs period.

Sounds like you will be ok on this one but what that other guy said if you are not comfortable dont do it.

If I to sell, which I dont do, or give to you, which I do give my friends stuff, I either have known you for over a decade, had sex with you (girls only lol) or I got the goods on you one of the three or no go.

Informants can do what ever they want they are not law enforcement.

For Law Enforcement

Question 1. No - that would be entrapment and they would not have a case. You would have had to ask for it and they would need to have sold you something to make a case.
Question 2. No - They are not allowed to use any drugs. They have to avoid taking or using any drugs they are buying. Unless they are corrupt, which most aren't but can happen.
Question 3. Yes - They can bust you for one deal but usually they will work their way up slowly as to no rise suspicion.

Source - 8 years law school. - I'm taking the test for the Cal Bar later this year so. This is only my opinion and should not be subsituted for legal advice. For professional legal advice you should speak directly with an attorney.

Bottom line your a medical patient. When people like you do things like this it hurts the rest of us. Please don't sell your medicine for all of our sakes. I'm not trying to knock you or put you down just saying. :-) I hope this information helps

honestly my friend, I don't get prescribed anything. I just know a lot of people that do and that's how I help people but also since this happened I quit helping people out. Fuck em. I do me and that's it. But thanx for the advice

Yeah you have to be careful when you are dealing with other people. I'm glad I could help.

Cops and Confidential Informants often break laws including using and trading drugs to make a buy. The fact is that it is your word against theirs and if there is a recording of the transaction the recording can be edited to show only behaviour that is incriminating the the defendant. So if your that paranoid about a person do not sell to them.

in a hypothetical situation, when would said cops say fuck this. we have no leads and then drop this guy for another guy to bust? the op says he doesnt smoke or do other drugs so if they are watxhing him they are wasting their time. how long would a cop watch u before he has to leave u alone? doesnt make sense if they could just watch u forever.

I would say stay away from the guy. Few bucks ant worth a pill head ratting you out just because he/she dosent wanna be dope sick in jail. Please be safe!

an informent can give you weed but by law cannot let that weed back into the public so must make an arrest pretty sharpish after have a look at that x cop guerilla grow video utube. it also says if you sell weed and you meet up with a few ppl to have a smoke of your weed before they buy it just check to c if any don't inhale
