Semi Indoor / Outdoor lady - What to expect?

Hi Peeps,

So this one is interesting in the sense that i never experienced it before.

I grew a regular Amnezia Haze seed and 'veged' it for about 8/9 weeks indoor under a 300W full spectrum led.

Because of space issue (I'd rather have control on my Autoflower who is also growing indoors), i had to move it outdoors in the yard.

I was vegging at 18/6 and now the plant is getting 12/12 outside as its winter (for 6 or 7 more weeks still). Its been around 10 days outside now.

Does that mean i have induced flowering and that i will start to see budding soon?

Anyone did already started a plant indoors and finished it outdoors?
Does it change potency/flavour/smell from what you normally know indoor?

I am an indoor guy and this is my first ever plant outside!

PS: I have also topped that plant at 4 weeks and now i have 3 main tops as colas - I will post a picture later today as eye candy.

Thanks my friends!

Thanks for your input - Please see the pics, would you say it has started flowering? Looks like it but is much slower than an auto.
Yes but you do not count the days and weeks like you would indoors. Outdoors is a different beast altogether.
You should consider next grow actually putting one outside and letting one go.
With enough soil you can get some monsters. You can easily produce more in one plant then most indoor grows pull off in a year.
Since it is winter where you are at...watch to make sure you are not getting bud rot from cooler temps and moister.

Awesome, thanks for that! I have to consider then transplanting the lady into a bigger pot - I have already transplanted once and it was a bit rough for her recovering from the shock.

What size pot would you recommend and should i transplant or use the 2 (one one top the other) pot technique?

Since she is already in flower I would not suggest transplant if she is in a regular container. If she is in a fabric pot then just bury the pot and all and the roots will grow through the fabric.
For next grow tho....The bigger is always better. I never suggest anything under 25 gallons but prefer hundreds myself.
Last grow I did 200 gallons and this yr is 400 gallons and look at the size diff.Screenshot_2018-08-02-02-17-53.png2018-08-01 11.14.23.jpgso root room is key ....

Awesome stuff - Makes my indoor autos look like a joke and i am stoked when i reap 2 oz! I might not however have that much space, but will definitely have 1 growing outdoors in a bigger pot next winter.

As a matter of curiosity, what is the dry smokable harvest of one of these amazing ladies??

Last grow I pulled 4 1/2 per plant ...This yr will be more.

Looking good @Bud1284. I'm assuming you are south of the equator. Your days will continue to get longer as you get into spring. I think you will be fine time wise, but when growing in winter/spring, you have to keep an eye out for re-veg. For me the first sign is white hairs growing where they had been brown.

Good luck.
