Best wishes to all in the land of Oz. We get hit with wildfires every year here in SoCal but human casualties are somehow always kept to a bare minimum. 80 or so deaths is brutal.

Its been some bad shit down here with all the fires and the weather hasnt helped.

The one thing I cant understand is these wankers that are starting the fires, so far they have killed about 75 people I think and not to mention the amount of homes and lives that have been ruined so far.

Thanks to all the fire fighters and volunteers putting their lives on the line to help fight these fires. They do an awesome job.

Tornado like conditions - except its a fire ball.... scary shit! Some folks are saying its one of the quickest moving fires seen around australia for a long time.......

yes i feel sorry for all the peoples lives these disasters have ruined.... destruction followed by death never a good way to start the year... in a way the dead have it easy tho, i more so feel for the living who are going to be left behind to pick up the pieces and try to start again, or say goodbye to theyre loved ones..

im still amazed at the statistickz of these disasters and can only be happy that im nowhere thats effected by these chain of events....

Thanx jester - i didnt know where you were going with the "they`ve got it easy" .....Nobody is going to gain from this nobody. Its best we support and send good thoughts, if you can donate to funds already setup for this do so.........it is a tax dedution.

(I HOPE THIS WILL BE MY ONLY SAD THREAD I DO ON RIU)

it was just my way of saying i feel for the people who are left behind to pick up the pieces..... i would preffer to be one of the dead.. than left behind with to burry dead friends and family.. i feel bad for the dead but more for the living... but then again i dont really enjoy life that much most of the time... so thats prolly an influencing factor in my answer..... (i feel bad for the dead cos i could guarantee most of them wanted to live but at least they dont hve to go through the whole rebuilding your life thing)

i wish i could help you out there im only carer and can barely support maself :( so i guess im just gonna have to think a shitload of good thoughts :)

but yeah i didnt mean they got it easy literally it was just figure of speach to put across i feel more for the people left living.... seriously i waatched th vid and there was so many sad people.... kinda upsetting t watch really.... i was born in vic so i wander and hope more people are ok :)
