Sending out an S.O.S. !!! Is my White Widow plant dead? How can I help it?

I left the WW seed to germinate in Fox Farm soil in a warm dark place. I remembered 3 days later about it and found the seedling looking frail & pail, the shell didn't pop off... I put the plant under light and 48hrs later it doesn't look any better. What can I do to stimulate growth or improve the condition. I have the plant in a indoor room, Temp: 80-84, Humidity: 60-66, Lighting: 24hrs 1-Zoo Med 10000k & 1-Actinic 420... What should my next move be? I'm think about just letting it be or maybe using a root simulator?

dude it will be fine just let the soil dry out then water DO NOT GIVE IT ANYTHING but water.. it's like giving a newborn a steak.. time and love.. let the weed gods take over now.. just remember that is a BABY not a full grown weed plant.. when seeds appear that doesn't mean to give it nutrients and a bunch of crap.. the soil that it is in will feed it for at least a month before any type of nutes are needed..

Let the soil dry out, like the above comment put it outside to get some nice natural sun and dry out. Stem looks healthy, means the roots are fine. The only problem is the top. Only thing you can do is wait it out to see what happens. Don't keep your seedlings soil wet all the time either. Let it dry before watering.

I would let the soil dry a few inches down then rewater with superthrive no more than a teaspoon a gallon very concentrated what ever you do thou don't put it outside rite now the intense sun light will only add to the shock fluorescent light is perfect for seedlings if nothing happens Ina week trash it homie good luck

It's in the high 90ies low 100 in Texas :-/ I'm not sure putting it out in the sun is a good idea. I'm not sure what super thrive does but that's what I'm probably leaning to.m

Dude let the soil dry out like 90% of everyone said already, set it outside and keep an eye on how dry the soil becomes. You need to dry the soil out first and foremost!!!! Someone mentions adding shit to it and that is the advice you go with? Instead of leaning toward super thrive, lean the upper half of your body out the car window just before you approach a tunnel. Please?

Hey dr octane I know the bulbs that you are using. I made the same mistake. Try using cfl bulbs. The 10000k is a waste. And so is the actinic bulb. 6500k is more than enough, I have cfls ranging from 2700k 3500k 5000k 6500k. For a seedling I don't use much light at first. A week atleast before I'd go under anything substantial. Don't give it anything. Not even water. Let it catch its breath and do what it's going to do.

Why are the Zoo Med lights a waste? I thought the lumens the better? The Dark Devil is growing fine under those lights...

Can't believe no one has mentioned this, but you can take a toothpick if you are really careful (and don't mind a bit of risk) and pull the seed casing off of the plant. Sometimes the seed casing will come off but the inner membrane is still wrapped around the top, too--same thing, nice sharp toothpick and just barely get under it and slide it up and off.

And definitely let your soil get dry in between waterings. You'll thank yourself later for not stunting your growth in this critical period.

Just want to back mr. maryj on this one. What ever you do DO NOT put it outside.........Not only will the heat and intense light burn it up and kill it, there is a good chance when you bring it back in you will bring unwanted guests with it. ie, mites, white flies, gnats.

I appreciate everyone's opinion/ advise on my plant's situation. The plant is looking healthier using a lite mixture of "super-thrive/h2o" I'm not sure if science fixed my plant or Mother Nature or both? Who knows but it's a fun little hobby that's enjoyable :)

thanks everybody!

Yo stupid fuck. I start my seedlings outside. Natural sunlight is the best. Keep them outside for good airflow for a few hours and bring them back inside and put them in my window. Grow way better then when I start them under my cfls.
