sensi seeds hindu kush hempy bucket closet grow

I have 6 hindu kush regular seeds bought from attitude seeds. the first 2 I planted in rockwool and they both did not like it at all. started off fine then started to turn pale yellow and leaves crusted and died I transplanted them into soil and one is making a great recovery starting to grow again and gain back nice green. the other seedling from rockwool is not making a recovery and will most likely be dead any day here. the other 5 I just planted in soil and look great so far.( as far as seedling go)

they will be transplanted into hempy buckets once they fill up the 12 oz solo party cups they are currently in. the small seedling sprouted a few days ago but the larger one actually is about a month old. Im positive these younger ones with catch up in no time as they arnt dealing with teh rockwool issues.

I also have a dinafem white widow and blue widow grow going here : https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/521189-dinafem-white-widow-blue-widow.html#post7305611

the blue widow actually did great in the rockwool while the white widow and hindu kush's failed.

taken on the 22nd

lots of good growth. some much bigger than others. some stretching more than others.

the my favorite one has very short internode spacing growing faster than the others and has a nice hashy citrisy smelly. others dont have much smell.

i heard the hindu kush by sensi kinda went down the tubes in terms of gene stability. but we just have to see. either way hopefully i can get a keeper mother out of the 6 regular seeds I got going.

hey guys i havnt grown any sensi gear since about 2002 or something like that but i gotta say i was blown away back then so much so that after growing loads of other shit over the yrs i have been looking at there catalog again dreaming of the good old days. gonna get me some more sensi soon for sure.

i grew there skunk x hindu kush. this was still some of the hardest hitting weed i have ever had no joke. the first time i smoked it i kind of overdid it a little and sat in a chair for about an hr reminding myself to blink so my big red eyes wouldnt sting and that was about all the concentration i could manage. the very next day i ate a cake made from the trim and was stone for 2 days no bullshit.

i have never tried shiva shanti II but i have grown shiva shanti 1 and while not as potent as the skunk kush was some of the nicest smelling tasting and looking bud i have ever grown. i was gifted a clone from a friend and it was an awesome pheno with purple pistils and a crazy good bubblegum smell and flavour. lime green buds covered in trich's delicious.

im getting some of there northern lights soon along with both skunk kush and shiva shanti 1 just to take me back so i will be watching this grow

oh and i should probably say that i had one pheno in my skunk kuh which im fairly certain was a hindu kush dominant pheno and it was crazy grew real short only about 1m -1.5m high while all the others got well over 2m (this was an outdoor grow) the kushy plant grew 5 or 6 main branches without topping and each one was just like a huge cola thicker than my arms. soaked in crystals and an awesome fruit punch candy smell. hope you get something like that.

ahh the memories

just looking at your photos im seeing a lot of variety in th pheno's so maybe sensi has lost a lot of the satbility of there lines man i hope that isnt true.
i really like the one in the bottom right of the group shot but they all look nice in there own way

ya stability doesnt seem very good but plants are healthy at least. The oldest one is in 12/12 and is showing its female self nicely so I got one female for sure already.

Ill get better picks of the hairs up soon.

diversity in pheno's isnt always a bad thing though. just means they are inbreeding from the original line but probably just doing open pollinations or something instead of putting in the extra time to select the best parents and breed with them alone. this is probably because of the massive numbers of seeds a company like sensi would produce.
genetically speeking its probably a good thing and in my opinion whilst results may vary it increases your chance of finding that one freak plant that blows all the others away

Ya its easy to see that they would get lazy on the breeding overtime..butt that is an interesting point about getting that "freak" plant. I mean thats how all the best strains are found right?

Hey guys havnt updated in a long time sorry about that but I had to put them under 12/12 way to early because it was the only way they could finish as Im leaving on vacation today.

Ill add some pictures soon..just for some info though 3 were male 3 were female. i harvested one female already..about the smallest plant ever bc of the micro veg time but I got about 2 grams of decent bud of it. the other two are larger and still flowering. they will have to survive 3 weeks on their own with nothing but a reservoir of water I created for them and thats and interesting experiment in itself. one of them is very nice thick indica looking and the other could be 100% sativa as far as looks go. the sativa looking plant also is progressing through flowering much much slower than the indica. the fat indica pheno is just what im looking for from a hindu kush its already got fat buds on it and the pistils are all still pearly white as its early in flower. the smell is just a delicious citrus with a pinch of spice

Kinda let you subscribers down on this one but I will grow them again as I want to perpetually grow hindu kush.

will update will pictures soon they all finished a while ago. the sativa growth pattern plants indeed took longer to flower and also had more of a sativa high. Now there were two females I grew out both only roughly a foot tall that were stereotypical hindu kush and the bud was killer. fat nugs as well, good yield. very sedating..not a day time smoke great for relaxation and sleep. The classic citrus smell and taste. the phenos are in there for the sensi seeds hindu kush just have to find them out of the pack.
