your ruler is messed up,

2.5cm in an inch, 6 inch =15cm
You are right lol, this is one of those scientific ones, I'm not sure what the scale is on the left. Thanks for the catch +rep

Here are the latest pics, I decided to do top and side for all three flowering. Scale in proper inches and cm.
1 ) BS top
2 ) BS Side
3 ) WR top
4 ) WR side
5 ) SS top
6 ) SS side

I've seen some indicators on two Chocolope plants that they may be male. So I pulled out the microscope to get a closer look. Thought I would share these pix ( 20x )
I've put these two plants to the side as they may be headed for the trash. I will give them a few days more. 3 Chocolope plants left.

1) Plant 1 pic 1
2) Plant 1 pic 2
3) Plant 2 pic 1
4) Plant 2 pic 2

They look like balls, but I agree that's it's early. If it were me, I'd wait a few more days just to be 100% certain. They're not gonna harm them fems within that time, so it can't hurt to wait :joint:8)

How about some more pictures of one of the suspected males, a couple days later. This is 12/12 from seed under HPS, btw. 5 wks ? Almost exactly 30 cm / 12 in. Node spacing is horrible, very stretched under that light.

20x pix are of two different nodes

Q : Who cares about all this detail ?
A : Dunno, but it's fun to write up.

Hmmm. I'm still thinking balls. They've been under 12/12 since day 1? Dang. When did you start seeing the balls? Have any with hair yet?

And yes, the other White Russian growers care! :joint:8)

Here are some pix of the grow box, it's been a couple weeks, and there has been a bit of growth. Getting a little full in there, wonder if it can hold out 2-3 weeks until flowering is finished.

EDIT : I could switch to 18/6 at this point to slow down growth, but the box is not heated, would not work this time of year.

1) Outside with door cracked
2) Outdise with door open , WR
3) Looking in the door, WR
4) In the back, Indicas
5) WR bottom SS top
6) SS

This grow box contains 460W ( measured power ) of large CFLs, 4x45W blue and 4x65W red.
I have both a grow box for veg, and a room for flower. I'm hoping that the timing for the veg in this box will not conflict with the flowering time. These will only veg for 2-3 weeks more as that's how long I need to properly flower the current SS grow.

Ok, here are some of the few pictures of the "Super Star" from seed. ( really Sensi Star, but I won't get into that right now )
What is amazing in these pictures is that these two plants were given the exact same conditions from seed, yet they acted quite different.
How NOT to grow cannabis : nodes should not look like this - what is that, like 25 cm ?

Agreed. All 5 of these will go. 3 Chocolope and 2 Super Star. The one SuSt that is extremely small will go, it's of no use to me even if its female. So that's 5 plants to be executed.

All indications are that the remaining 2 Chocolope are female, and at least one SuSt is a girl - that crazy tall one.

I've added a 2 pix of Sensi Star and White Russian colas, you guess which is which .. I'm bongsmilie

I thought I would document my cloning process today. I have certainty that the tall, stretchy Super Star is a girl, so I made four clones and one big clone from the top. I don't have a lot of hope for the big clone, really.. I'm trying a less complicated method since it's so big, and I'm unsure about it.

But, lets say I wanted to clone :

Get ready : cloning gel, RR or RW plugs, nutrient water, clone tray and humidity dome, chopping bucket, scissors, and a razor blade.
Fill the chopping bucket and clone tray with nutrient solution, the bucket a few cm and the cloning tray to about 1 cm.
( numbers refer to pictures )
1 ) Get your plant ready
2 ) Find your cuts, cut with scissors some long stems.
3 ) Chopped plant pic
4 ) Place stems in chopping bucket, cuts underwater.
Open your cloning gel and then soak your RR or RW plugs in the cloning tray.
5 ) Cut with razor blade under water
6 ) Cut at an angle to expose inner tissue
7 ) Dip in cloning gel
8 ) Insert into a rockwool cube, inside a rapid rooter plug. ( not normal procedure for me, but works for others )
9 ) Cut with razor blade and dip remaining stems into gel
10 ) Place into rockwool plugs in the cloning tray
11 ) Cover with humidity dome and place under 24/0 with low light

Cool, now I don't have to remember how to do it. :bigjoint:
