I'll still take the Longbow, I'm biased and just love the sneakyness of the Apache. Hiding behind trees 6 miles away and it pops up and launches hell down range. With the fire control radar and radar guided hellfire missiles there nothing out there that stands a chance.
 
Nobody want's war... it's just a part of what has happened since the bow or powder gun was invented.... why not be the best at it?.... and we are the best at it. After all... everybody is trying to be the best at it. You can't lay down and be caught off guard with inferior weaponry.

The LongBow has that camera/radar on top of the prop section right?

When we did night gunnery for the Apaches there was zero light. The pilots and co pilot gunners have heads up displays linked to the targeting system which can see a bunny at night miles away and tell you if it's a boy or a girl. There were flares at the edges of the gun range to keep the pilots from getting night blind and shooting one of us. We'd use flares to assist the helmet mounted night vision glasses on really dark nights in certain training situations too. The night vision when I was in was 3rd gen and sucked. The newer stuff and IR laser based stuff is way better.

@PJ Diaz ..... I got total respect for you man, but these are things we have to stay on top of. Otherwise, we'd be taken over. Now.... I do have a big problem with sticking our noses in other Countries business... Im sure there's a reason we do so, and I hate that. I wished we could just mind our own business and just patrol the coast, borders, and mind our own Homeland Security.... However, there are deal being made, politicians and upper Elite working to make trade deals, and if they don't like it, we intervene.... I'd much rather us make our own products, farm our own land, make our own oil supply... but somehow, it doesn't work that way.
