I did have a gnat problem earlier with 2 or 3, but i took care of it quite well. I haven't not seen one in a very long time.
I ended up covering the soil with sand, and that pretty much killed them off. However, I have just flushed, so that will be the real indicator is they are done for..

I think phosphoric acid would be the best way to lower the ph since at the same time it will supply the plant with phosphorous... later on when ill have more plants i tend to try using a phphorous ph buffer like using a sodium di ortophosphate solution adjust it and it is suppost to handle and keep a constant ph quite well but on the other hand i dont know how it will effect the plant

dude shes starving, thats not burn its P deficiency in flower

you should feed her those nutes every other watering.
They're starving because of likely over fertilization, resulting in nutrient lockout. The PH after nutrients are added should be around 6.5 and 6.8 or whatever your prefer the ph at. 6.2 is too low IMO for soil. Don't use battery acid to ph your plants down, you mentioned you tried this, I wouldn't be surprised if that is causing your plants to die. As Illumin said flush, flush now! No battery acid, a $20 gallon of ph down will last you through a couple grows.

I didn't use the DIY PH down. There was a DIY to make your own Ph down using battery acid and distilled water. NEVER did it.
Its strange because I use minimal nutes. Yes, I am flushing them as soon as as possible. I should be able to check the ppm soon and regulate the feeding, as well as get Ph down. Its quite tricky to get it right.

I appreciate all the input guys

go buy a few gallons of distilled water PH it to 6.8 and flush those babys thats lock out for sure Chlorine from your tap water will do this along with a few other minerals. flush as soon as possible then start on a light bloom freed like 450ppms should be good to start at but yea good luck dude!!

first off how long have you vegged for ????
secondly obviously theres either a ph issue locking out your nutrients or your not giving them enough food
plants in all stages needs food at all times fck the feed water feed thing if you want to see results its FEED FEED FEED

now what i would do is mix a food a min 2 ml per litre and feed them girls with 6.8 ph dont bother flushing just get a decent runoff of 6.4 and up most of the leafs that are screwed now will be screwed 2 weeks from now leave them on for another week and pul them off your plant has gone into a repair state and will keep trying to repair so get rid of them leafs in a weeks time
no matter what you have damaged your plants and your yields wil suffer just get her done and move on

I vegged for a while, took my time. I have already started flushing. I just put pics up of the really bad ones. I am hoping to try to fix whats left. any other good advice for me?
I have a feeling my water is VERY HARD water. Will my PPM be able to tell me how hard my water is?
Should i have a go with using distilled water?

Hang on Man.Looks like a past nutrient deficiency.Clip all of that dead stuff off and keep her @ or around 6.2.Looks like sh'es in her 2nd or 3rd week and you dont want to reinvent anything right now.I'm afraid you may be fucking with it to death.Try to keep Ph @ 7.2 during low PPM Feedings and 6.2 @ the lowest during the heaviest feeding. If your in mix keep her @ 1200 ppm max If it is hard water then your faucet may be putting out over 200 PPM .Can you take pics with a standard cfl or something we can see the dead spots Bro?

I'll try to do that for you. Man, the issues with this grow was ridiculous. Gnats, lock out, deficiency, males popping out, 1 Genetic Hermie.... besides the males and the hermie the low PH/Hard water caused all them issues. The feeding, the plants were not able to absorb any thing due to the acidity and then the lockout happened. So, I have both lock out and nutrient deficiency. I was doing fine in Veg and the minute I flipped the switch, everything hit the fan. But I definitely know how to do it right next time.

Keep em coming guys

Still think I can revive most of them. its not as bad as the pictured show, but yield will definitely suffer.
