Ha good timing, i was just discussing this strain with a friend 5 minutes ago as our potential next strain. He said from what his roommate had told him its a low yielder, so we decided to keep looking.

yea there getting 3 oz in superb growing conditions u gotta remember there using 1000wers,co2, etc
True man, i grew bb cheese and harvesed nearly 3 oz off a couple of those but i thought the russian looked insane! I reckon i could do the same with the russian seeing as its only 3 and iv got shit loads of space along with 2 different lights 250w hps and a 400.
All my previous grows have been 6-7 plants hopefully with 3 i can pull some weight off.

Funny. I just got some White Russian seeds tonight as a gift. The person who ordered them was supposed to get White Satin, but he got shipped White Russains instead. Anyhow, he's moving soon and can't grow 'em, so he gave them to me.

I'm trying to look up stuff on the strain because it didn't come in a breeder bag, just some white corrugated plastic with "white russian" written on it. So I have no idea which "brand" they are. I'd be interested in seeing what your pix look like as it grows so can compare.

When are you going to plant yours? Maybe we can grow at the same time.

Hi mate, yea i'd be up for doing that i havent actually ordered the seeds yet but as soon as my current grow is finished which will be in 1 week or so i'l be ordering. How many beans u get and are they feminized?
If u know where ur mate ordered them from you can find out there.
Also what light, nutes will u be using?
In soil or hydro?

Yeah, I think I may need to wait a month or so because my grow space is a bit maxed out right now. The package I have has 8 in it. So I'm guessing it was a 10pk and he might've taken 2 out. So, I'm thinking they're not fem. I'll have to get more details when I talk to him next. Too many family members around that don't know about our little secrets to have discussed it more than we did. But I dunno if finding out where he ordered from will help. He said he ordered from a place in Canada (which prefers to remain nameless on forums) and the seeds came from the UK. I don't know how all of that works and whatnot. But I'll double check with him that he did in fact order from the place he usually orders from.

Oh, and I was searching around on here last night for more info and found Man o' the Green's grow journal which includes some White Russian from SS

P.s any1 out there with pics of this strain that has grown it?

Right now I just have white satins. But I also have Jedi on its way. can't wait to see how that one will turn out!

Also, I just realized I never answered your questions.

Also what light, nutes will u be using?

I have 250w MH for my veg room and 400w MH for my flowering. I'm all soil, but will go hydro whenever I have the money for a nice fancy setup. This goal is years away from happening because I have higher priorities for my cash flow right now. So my cheap pot/soil setup works wonderfully, and I feel there's no *need* to change t. Of course I have a high desire to. But I also desire to get my medical bills paid first!

Nutes: I used them in my first crop and fried it. So the last couple crops, I've laid off of them to get a handle on how to grow the plants and get used to the schedules and such. Now that I'm on my 4th grow I was thinking of introducing nutes into the schedule, but I haven't put much effort into researching it yet. Although, I see that a lot of people like this Fox Farm stuff, so I was going to read up on that and see what other kinds people recommend.

These are the nutrients I was using:

But I was also using Miracle Grow Moisture Control soil. So I think it was the problem of using both combined with the frequency I was feeding nutes with water that ruined my first grow.

Anyway, now I'm just taking it slow and steady instead of thinking I'm going to grow the most amazing shit with no experience.

So what's your setup?

I have grown white russian and have a full 4X4 grow tent of the ladies about 5 days from being flipped... it is a very potent strain that grows on a short to medium bushy height plant. Plan on getting lots of stakes of you grow in soil so you can train her lower branches to get more sunlight on the bud laden branches... I am a med mj patient and get great pain releif from the strain. She really lays a number on ya and she is anything but a low yeilder....:weed:

P.S.

I found out that he ordered the seeds from kindseeds.com

Never heard of it, but I went there and they carry both Serious Seeds and Sargarmatha--both have a White Russian strain. The Russians are only listed under Serious Seeds, but that doesn't mean that they might've just sent some old Sagarmatha seeds that aren't listed anymore. What do you think?

I'm still hopeful that they're Serious Seeds. When I was researching last night, I noticed Lowlife also has an autoflower strain, but it seems that kindseeds.com doesn't carry that brand. So I've eliminated 1 breeder from the list of possibilities!

Thanks for sharing that.sounds good.
Just checked out that jedi 41% thc!!!
Good luck with it man u not have a journal going?

Well in a few ways you dont do much different to what i do, i am on my 5th grow and iv never used advanced nutrients, my first grow was grown with baby bio and i was told to stop using it even tho the grow turned out fantastic. Not too familiar with fox farm as i think that is mainly available to u.s?
I have 2 lights a 250w hps and a 400w hps. However i wouldnt mind 1 of those MH/HPS conversions. :-P
Have never grown hydro but would love to try. For my current grow (cali hash plant) im just giving her bat gauno and basically let her do her thing, same with the autos i finshed a couple months back. I will be going with bio products for the russian as i have seen crazy results from it.
About what you said with the auto russian, my last grow was all autos and dont get me wrong they are good with how quick they finish but the stregth isnt a patch on regular strains thats why im thinking 3 or 4 beasty russians!
P.s i think ur seeds would have likely come from serious hope u get a good amout of girls.

No I don't. But I was gonna start one with my newest clones (now 3 weeks old). But I got the light too close and burned them a little. So I'm kinda embarrassed to start off like that.

I'm actually germinating the Russians right now. Tonight, I noticed a very big difference in the buds of my White Satin moms. I name my plants... sounds weird, maybe, but I'm glad I do because I know which clones came from which mom. Right now I have Bs and Es for names.

After noticing the B's buds were less dense than the E's, I looked at the clones and noticed a big difference in the leaf structure between the 2 also. B's leaf fingers were skinnier than the E's. The E-named plant is far more superior to the other seeds I sprouted (they get named alphabetically by the order in which they sprout).

Since I like indicas more and this is a sativa/indica hybrid, I decided I'm gonna trash the B-named clones to make room for the Russians. Since it seems the E-named plant probably contain more the indica genetics. Maybe I'm wrong, this is just my logic that I'm going off of. So I think I'll make the Russians my first grow journal.

Anyway, sounds like we have a very similar setup--except yours is better. Definitely do a grow journal for yours too! We'll be starting at different times, but still would be cool to see the results of both at nearly the same time. :weed:
