Seriously, the truth about Air Conditionings... Please

Lets look at the facts > So, all I want is a sealed environment for my plants and Co2 > No intake and no exhaust > For this, it is a must to have Co2 running with a controller at 1500ppm > Even with aircooled hoods the temps in a 5x5x7 tent with a 1000w HPS, plus flours and a dehumidifier running will exceed temps of 100F > So add in a portable AC right!? > Well I have done so > Only thing is portable AC's have a ducting that runs out of a window to expel the hot air > So does that not mean that the hot air going out the ducting is air from the tent? > The portable AC must be acting like an exhaust fan which destroys the use of keeping the room sealed and keeping the Co2 inside the tent, does it not???

I turned off my Carbon Filter to check my theory and indeed the hot air from the ducting was a little stinky. That should mean that my AC is exhausting my Co2 in my room right?

If anyone has any insight on this or knows about how AC's work and maybe it is just the machines hot air that goes out the window and not the air from inside the tent. Thanks for the help.

Look around your house and you'll find an intake vent in one or several of your walls.

This vent takes in the air in your house and vents it out while cooling air from the outside and bringing it into your house.

Your portable AC works the same way, it has an intake vent, this vent pulls surrounding air into cools it and vents hot air out the exhaust, this hot air is the hot air in your grow that didn't get cooled.

So your first not filtering the smell of your exhaust and your removing your CO2. In theory with some of the AC's you can take air in from the outside and vent air that doesn't get cooled back outside, but your AC will have to work twice as hard because it's not pulling any hot air out of your grow room.

This is how all AC's work they replace hot air with cold air, not just cool your air, there's always air left over that's really. Yes you are venting out your CO2, but some of it is coming back in as well.

Ahhhhh so is there no solution to this? If I get a controller for my Co2 to keep it at 1500ppm will I go through Co2 like crazy since some/most of it is being exhausted through my portable AC?
