Well things are coming along, slowly, but surely.

I ordered my controllers and bluelab ph/ec/temp monitor
Titan saturn 5 environmental controller
Autopilot 4 light controller
Blulab monitor

Building my tables this evening/tomorrow.

I built the frames for my lights already, they turned out good, they are fkn huge lol still waiting on thermal tape and my order from amazon to show up, get these things wired and up and running.

The cmh tent is taking forever to finish, as soon as they are done ill wrap the walls hook everything up and get this shit show on the road

Hey @Renfro or anyone else who knows the answer.


I have a double 20amp breaker assigned for a baseboard heater in the room next to my room. It's never been used for heat and will never be. The wire is capped with marettes?

can I pull that wire over to my room and use it without issue? Well not me, but my electrician when he shows up.

Is that an extra 20 usable amps ? Or can this only be wired for 240 cause it's a double for heater?

I'm trying to finish up the planning before he gets here tomorrow or Tuesday. if I can use that double 20 that changes things for me for the better.

You can use it for 240, or connect the white to the neutral buss and the black to a single pole breaker and have 120v.

Ok that makes sense, i may just add another 15a circuit to the room to be sure.

I have the space in my panel, be easier than changing from 15 to 20

you know what boneheaded thing i did, i gotta tell you because you specifically warned me about.

I went and ordered that saturn 5 and paid good money for it. once it was shipped and too late to cancel, i reread this thread and you telling me it was just a co2 timer, not a monitor. FML

So ill still have to buy a co2 monitor to go with this fkn thing.

Sometimes i even amaze myself

You could use the short cycle timer for something else perhaps. It's not like you spent a lot extra for that feature.

So i can still wire a 20 amp feed to normal plugs? for fans and pumps and stuff?

the light controller will take care of lights, i have a 15a circuit for enviro controller....dehuey/huey and Exhaust will plug in to that. i need more plugins for osc fans and timers and pumps tho.

Yeah just buy the 20 amp rated receptacles and use 12 gauge wire. All my grow room 120 volt feeds are 20 amp and it came in handy a few times.

Well Compared to just buying the inkbirds dual set i spent an extra $200 and it does the same thing. Only main difference in the 15` sensor cord, that will come in handy im guessing.

But if im not running co2, and its not a co2 monitor, i woulda been better off spending the $95 on the inkbirds lol


Unless as you say, i can use the short cycle timer for something else. We will see i guess

Code for homes is 20 amp circuit for bathroom receptacles and two 20 amp circuits for kitchen receptacles. Garage is now at 20 amp receptacles as of 2017 code. So it's very common

Ok thats good info to know. I will grab a 20a and some 12/2 wire in the morning for when my guy shows up.

Im hoping hes gonna pop by tomorrow afternoon and do this bit of stuff. The new crop are outgrowing the 4x4 and need the new space.

Lights still wont be ready, but ill stick the 600w mh and the 315 mh above them while i wait for rest of the light parts.


Almost wishing i went with mold resistant drywall and paint, not liking this panda film and all its wrinkles at all. Got so much more spent than i was planning tho, so gonna chill and work with what i got i think....well maybe drywall lol fuck

Ya i might return it.

Might just say fuck it and buy a co2 monitor and keep it just in case i want to run co2 down the road.

Regardless, i need/want a co2 monitor to keep an eye on those numbers.

1. Spare. Just in case you have a problem with your (future) production Co2 controller.

2. Mobile. Able to test/verify ppm levels in other rooms and pinpointed spots with the remote sensor.

3. Barter. Lol

If my controtroller dies.....uh....I guess I'd be scrambling. Dang it.

Well right now i dont have any enviro controller at all, so having the saturn 5 will be a huge step up in getting my room dialed in. I just wish i had paid attention to renfro and went with a different option as this saturn 5 dont actually read PPM levels...its just a timer for releasing co2 if your using it. Which i am not lol

So basically for me, not using co2, its a $300 temp and humidity controller, which is alot more than the inkbirds or sonoff options for temp/rh

Live and learn lol
