setting up light rails (can't get it!)

i have a light rail 3.5 12' with add a lamp.. so there is two lamps (bare bulb)

for the life of me i can't get the lights/trolleys balanced and moving smoothly..
i can even get it set up so it makes 4 or 5 good runs and then gets stuck...

the tracks of the rail have some rubber residue from the wheels.. i cleaned some of the rail but didnt notice any difference.. think its mostly getting it balanced perfectly... any tips?
how frustrating,,, and im out of weed :/

let me guess is it the chain type?.

i had am issuse with my light rail using a certain type of ducting. i have to keep my ducting straight and inline with the rail or i would have problems too. how big is your hood? i switched to a cool tube because its lighter than most hoods. my led on a rail never has issues

its actually not the chain type. and there is no ducting, very light adjust a wing reflectors hooked directly to bar hooks. (no chain for adjusting light height)
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ive been trying my best to level everything... it just seems so sticky in parts i don't get it...

Get a pic up of your setup. This is mine modded for vert. They do take some tweeking every time you put one up

Use alcohol to clean rollers and rail.

did you buy them used? i use an itelli 3.5 and like i said it takes adjusting. if you have no hood then you must be doing something else youre not mentioning.

Yea if its used it may need a rebuild. they start slipping and shit....
