setting up my grow

Here's the situation. I got 10 feminized dutch passion ultimate and a 1000w hps. As I was about to start my grow my sister decided she's gotta stay with me for a month. Basically I need to do some kind of stealth setup to start my plants in for the month my sister is with me. Once she leaves ill switch them into the normal setup. Any suggestions?

you could veg them under cfl's in a closet for a month.

I was thinking of getting a rubbermaid container to veg in using cfls and pc fans for air flow. I have no cfl knowledge whatsoever. For 10 plants what is a good amount of wattage? Would using a t5 work better? How many watts for the t5? Thanks so much for the help! This site RULES!
