Severe droop/wilt

I’ve hooked a chiller up to my rig and added air stones to my res.. I don’t think lack of oxygen to the roots is to blame but I’m not taking chances. Got me puzzled this one.. rest of the garden (different strain) which is all fed from the same recycling res is doing great..

I have probably just murdered a plant in the name of science but I wanted to know if I had root rot and the only way I could figure it was to float the plant out of its media and look at the roots.. the way it’s going it was going to be dead soon anyway..
I really can’t see any sign of it tho.. the roots look and smell healthy near as I can tell.. but two plants have gone downhill now, I have isolated them both..
Those roots aren't happy imo. Note how there's no spread from the main root system, healthy roots should look like there's "hairs" on them. They should also not look so dry and shriveled, but more plump and lush.
