Hey Zig...thanks for dropping by...If you look in picture 2...on the right in the center...it doesnt come out very well, but I can see it with my eye-it looks like a hair. But it's really tiny...I dunno, maybe just my imagination. Pretty stoned all day today:blsmoke:
sometimes the beginnings of new leaf sets at the top can be so pointy and thin it appears to be a hair...but look very closely..still just wait...ive been waiting for my tall ass durban poisons to show sex for what seems like forever! and they are really big...its gonna suck to kill the males.cuz of all the time and work, but it just HAS to be done lol :eyesmoke:

Yeah...they still may be a little young. They were sprouted on May 18th...so just over a month old.

So I zoomed in really really close at the calxy's on my Northern Lights on my computer...and I can faintly see what looks like 2 hairs coming out of the calyx. Its almost 11 pm here right now, so I can't wait to hop outta bed tomorrow with a magnifying glass or loop to see if I can get a real close up view. I'm gonna use a 25x power spec to view. I'll update everyone tomorrow. But I posted a few pics of my plants from early this morning. Hope everyone likes!:eyesmoke::bigjoint:
Also, does the top of my NL look like its starting to flower?

Im not seeing hairs bro...:(
lol...I know...you can't see em' with the pics I posted. I can't post a pic with the full out zoom with my cpu prog. It would be too blurry and indistinguishable for viewers. That's why I'm buying a 25x lens tomorrow to check it out for certainty. Keeping my fingers crossed though...

do you see any other signs of any sex though...like tiny little balls or sacks forming in the nodes? I think I may be seeing sacks in the second pic.

funny you say that...I haven't noticed any balls or sacs...the only thing thats apparent to my naked eye are spade shaped calxy's. I can't see any hairs though with my eyes. And I've been looking really hard for like 6 hours straight on google, differentiating the two sexes preflowers. I don't notice anything like the balls of the males. It looks more like the females without any hairs.
On pic 2 is the pic that I zoomed in really close on my cpu. The lower left node is where the calyx I noticed the hair zoomed in.

I'd like to hold a moment of silence for my boy Northern Lights. I had to put him to rest today. I was wishful thinking he'd be a she. Thanks for everyone's honesty. Now I can focus on my younger Swiss Cheese Feminized. At least I'll know she'll harvest for me. Hope everyone will stay stick by me as I update my Cheese's grow from here on in. I will post pics in a lil while after the garden dries a lil bit more, I gave it a nice shower. The weather here in CT has been blessing us with some beautiful sunny 80 degree days. This is the first time I've had to water my garden this year. BTW, all the help and support that I learned in these rooms helped my boy to grow to a flattering 46 inches tall base of stem to new growth tip since May 8th. Not bad for under 2 months old. Just wish all that hard work and time woulda yielded a female for me. Well, it's a learned lesson to only purchase feminized seeds. Next year I will have a nice garden with a nice variety of different strains. Some strains I've been thinking about are: Lowryder(for a nice quick harvest), Strawberry Cough and maybe some Big Bud.
Thanks for all the help and comments. I've met some cool peeps in here, I'll update later tonight.
