hi i need help they said growing nevilles haze was hard. i think thats a under statement. ineed to know if this is a hermie or female cause id really like to smoke nevilles haze all the other plants turned out to be male and this looks a hermie. i need advice from professional growers on this one.:spew: thanks

with certails strains you can get hosed, last year i ordered ppp and got 10-10 males it does happen try again

hi il try ripping the male flowers off for a while and see if it turns female. if not il just smoke it and see what nevilles haze is like

doobs day, have you heard of haze??? it is supposed to be one of the best strains in the world. how long have you been growing it? i read it takes a year from seed to harvest, thats a bummer man if i were in your place i would cut male flowers all through budding, just for a sample of the famous strain...

as for the seeds, if it hermied natrally the seeds would also have a tendancy to herm, unless it was stress caused.

this is the second time iv'e tried to grow nevilles haze. the time before all the seedlings when they got to 5/6in they flop over and died. but i also had NL/haze and w.widow seedlings but they were fine in the same conditions.
so N.haze is really hard to grow

Was this hermie'd plant started with feminised seeds?

I was under the impression that you can only get hermies from feminised seeds. Is that correct or not?

Also, in the case you find a plant hermies, is it usually all over the plant or just a small section so that it's "manageable"? I would tend to think a plant with the disposition to grow nuts wouldn't produce as strong flowers as pure females.

Hermie seeds will grow into hermies OR females, no males. This is the truth.

Also, Virgin Harvester, hermies don't only come from feminized seeds. Hermies can come from anywhere, even an overstressed female. Feminized seeds are created with hermies, so it would be impossible for hermies to only come from feminized seeds (Kind of like the chicken or the egg thing)...
