sexing

I am new at growing with seeds and I have several seedlings growing. I'm not sure how to go about sexing them? Should I clone all of them when they are large enough and put the clones on 12/12 then remove the males? Can I put the clones on 12/12 right away or should I root them first? OR Can I simply put the seedlings i have into a 12/12 cycle when they are large enough for a week or so until I can determine the sex then return the plants to 18/6 cycle? Will the plants recover ok? Will they go back into veg? I don't want to ruin my efforts!:roll:

my two cents. throw them into 12/12. After 10-12 days you will know which are male or hermie and you can toss 'em. The internet is a great resource - there are lots of pics of males and females to make the call easy. besides the pollen won't squirt for at least another week or 2 after that.
