Got the Sentinel chhc-4 mounted and the sensor placed... now I just need to run a extension to my co2 tank. Going to use it as a monitor for now, then hook up the tank when I have it setup properly so I don't burn all of my co2. This bastard was expensive, but so far seems to be the shit. Shielded cables and enclosure too, which is a must for me with 2x Solis Tek Digital Ballasts.
wow 2.0 ec your results speak for themselves but didnt realize you fed that high Im using dyna gro and was afraid to go above 1200ppm lol naybe i should reconsider?.... and also the shooting powder isnt that like cannas pk-13/14? do you think the pk 13/14 would be beneficial to run with DG they say to add it when the buds are dime size which is ussually by week 3 I believe and nly run it for a week. just curios why you ran the shotting powder at week 6 an 7? and when you flush do you do it when there half cloudy or a few ambers and then begin flushing? do you use phd tap to flush or bud candy? sorry about all the questioins this is my first run on a flood and drain...
sick! I thought my screen was crowded but looks like you like to fill yours in nicely to! I use garden fence on my scrog and wrap it around a pvc frame it has 2x4 openings what is your screen spacing?

2.0 EC @ .5ppm scale is 1000ppm. Yeah I use shooting powder at the end as directed by H&G. I flush when most are cloudy, but I just don't like over-ripe bud. Also over ripe bud is a higher risk of molding. I flush a week with plain, pHed tap water that comes out about 0.4ec.
My 3x3 screen has 2" spaced holes. On the 4x4 I went with 3x3, both seem to work pretty well, although I'm liking the 3x3 a little better.
o after googling it I thought EC was ec 1.0= 700 ppm so ec 2.0 would be 1400 ppm? maybe not?..
yea im trying to decide when to do so some guys dont flush at all Im just concerned about it tasting like shit so Im gna play it safe and flush when I see half cloudy and use some bud candy I have laying around to see how that does. do you notice by the time your done flushing it will have a few ambers?
yea the 3x3 seems to be the sweet spot for most people
what do you run your ppm at? jsut curious why you chose the sentinental over the cap co2 controller?
id like to add this to my garden eventually but trying to fig out if I want to add the burner as well instead of the tank Im in tents so Id have to add the hercules sytem hang a mini split and the burner but I do have acces to natual gas so maybe?...

Nice grow someguy15, Im subbed. I have a question if you don't mind, I was wondering what was your max ppm on your sour kush was, Im at 19 days flower tomorrow and at around 900 ppms. Just seeing if that's a good level to be at now or should I raise it or lower it. Again thanks

There are multiple ppm scales, they are confusing you, see chart it should clear it up. I run 1.6 to 2.3ec or so, including my 0.4ec base tap water.
As for co2, tanks are good for smaller areas with already high temps. Closets and small grows tanks are a must. When you get to room size, you can go with a burner. Keep in mind it will add co2, h2o and heat to your garden. Some units have coolers but that gets complicated fast. Mini Split in a room with a burner should be perfect as long as you size the mini-split right.
And I went for the sentinel because I liked it the best. I was looking for a total environment controller that could do everything and this unit can. Any room can be run with it, that flexibility is what sold me. Tanks or burners, dead band adjustment, user calibrated co2 sensor, green leds, covered ports I can continue lol
I wasn't using my controller when growing the sk. But I would say, don't give it much in the first 3 weeks, she tends to be a stretcher. After that I pretty much went full force with my timer setup. Now that I have the controller this will be a parameter I hone in better.

in a 4x8 tent Im not sure if a burner is worth it? how high should temps be with co2 thats what I though that temps should be higher but the guy at the hydro store said anything above 75 is to hot. and my tents run around 85 so Im gna have to get a 12K mini split soon enough

gonna psot sum pics here 2morrow. the Purple PineApples doing GREAT!! u should pop sum urself man. im very very happy with it so far! starting to frost up on the fan leaves as well. shesd a keeper for sure. i can already tell. lol. obviously i dont kno for sure.. the plant could just stop smelling amazing.. and stop frosting up and the yield could be shit... lol. but i dont think thats gonna happen. so far so good. =) think u may have created a masterpiece man. =)

Np, thanks for following along.
in a tent? probably not...unless you close the room up the tent is in and enrich that. Otherwise I would go with ac in the tent and tanks. And you can run at 85 all day canopy level with co2 enrichment...typically 1200-1500pm is the recommended range.
awesome to hear man. wish I had more space and time to keep messing with genetics. guh since this job I've been taxed. but I'll get back at it before too long. Getting my harvests spread out so I can control my workflow better. I'll check out the pics tomorrow, thanks for keeping me updated.

heres sum purple pineapple 3-4 weeks into flowering. its a lil behing because i topped right before i put it into flowering.. it was an experiment.. because i kno wen u top the plant.. the op of the plant needs time to recover.. soo the bottom of the plant grows/bushes out more during that time.. and obviously wen u out the plant into flwoering.. the stretch occurs.. soo i figured while the top was recovering. the bottom would grow more.... and grow faster at that because of the stretch.. and only the bottom would be growing soo all the energy would be going to the bottom of the plant.. and then once the top recovered.. the top would sstart the stretch.. and the bottom of the plant would continue to stretch as well. creating more growth.. well.. it seemed to work. very good actually. jsut took a lil longer. its about a week or so behind.. probably because it was working on recovering and stretching rather than making flowers.. anywayzzz. heres sum pics of the Purple Pineapple.. created by SomeGuy =) Black Water x PineApple Express

wish you could too man. theyre really startin to stink up now. very powerful fruit smell. a mix of pineapple.. and almost like a strawberry smell. like strawberry candy tho. not an actual strawberry.. doesnt seem to clone too well tho. =/ having a hard time getting a clone to root.. took 4 and none of them have rooted.. took 2 more the other day.. i kno it'll take a lil longer since its already flowering.. but i need to keep this strain goin. so far i really like it. hit it with a dose of azamax as well. seems pretty much un-affected by the mites.. very pest resistant. =) but cant hurt to take sum pre-cautions. might start sum of the sour purple kush's u made.. the blue ogsiels.. thats blue mystic x ogiesel... <---- OG Kush x Sour Diesel? thats wat it sounds like. but im not 100% sure

The ogiesel is a cali connect strain, believe its svf og kush x skunk #1 and then that was crossed with Royal Queen Seeds - Blue Mystic to make the Bluegiesel lol

sounds great. 5/5 germed mann. =) w.e. ur doin is working great. great germination results on both strains (PP and B-OG) =) ill be sure to keep ya up 2 date on these as well. dropped 3 into soil 2day... and will throw the other 2 in soil in a day or 2. waiting for the tap roots to get a lil bigger. =) im real excited for these as well.. it was a hard choice between those and the sour purple kush.. ill probly start those at sum point as well. =) im just happy that one of my PP clones rooted. =D i was really really worried that the clones werent gonna root. i took about 6 clones total.. and only had 1 root. but thats all i needed. lol. =) ill keep ya up to date on ur creations man. =) think the Blue Og's are gonna gonna be great as well.
