Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to get your opinions and an update. My lights went off before I remembered taking pics so.....

Technically I'm on day 56 of flowering. All of my tricomes (full inspection from top to bottom) are cloudy (okay 1 in 25 are still clear), but I have only seen several amber colored tricomes. My bud growth has significantly slowed down, with a couple foxtails popping up on lower bud sites. Foxtails on cola have stopped. ~80% of my pistils are red. I have been flushing for a week now.

My goal harvest date was/is this Thursday (May 29), that will be day 58. Is 58 days a normal indoor time? Is this an okay plan for this Thursday???

Thanks :peace:
That all sounds pretty much dead on, man. I, personally, would harvest it today or tomorrow since I prefer a more cerebral high, which is what the cloudy tricomes are going to give you. At most, I'd want 25% amber, but this is a personal preference. 58 days is just over 8 weeks, and that's a pretty average time for flowering. What strain is that?

I think the only thing I would do differently the next time is give yourself another week of flushing the plant (I prefer two weeks to just one), but you'll probably be okay. Congratulations. She looks very tasty. :blsmoke:

you might want to check out a product called Final Phase, its a really good flush supplement to use for last 10 days b/f harvest. Many friends of mine swear by it and i have to admit their buds are sweater than most. Advanced Nutes:-)

Hey guys,

Thanks again for all of your help/advice/comments! As for the strain I am unsure. In trying to be as vague as possible, let me just say this..... I've gotten a few bags from a BIG university in my state. The university has a grant from the feds to allow them to grow X amount for medicinal research, but they only need X amount. A couple of the program directors allow X amount to "disappear." And after going "down-the-chain" through three other individuals, I have been the lucky recipiant of some of their different strains such as kush, blueberry, bubblegum, ak47, skunk #9, northern lights, and white rhino, and crosses of the aforementioned. *** Don't worry, it's not hitting the streets. The line pretty much ends with me, and everyone I know that gets it doesn't sell... I found 4 seeds from all of those different strains. I decided to grow two seeds (one came out male) to get more, because the university was not re-approved to grow for this annual year due to budget cuts. I can tell you whatever it is, it is mostly indica due to its short stature.

I myself wonder what I have. I would like to see the capabilities of my plant's strain if I had grown hydroponically with high quality lights.

I am nervous about harvesting today. I would hate to chop her down and say "damn, she had another week." But it is week 8. I used organic nutrients, so I'm not really worried about only flushing her for these past 10 days, should be enough. I have grown and harvested before, but it was always outside, and never got this nice.

Again thanks every one. I will update you with the harvest pics! :peace:

I just harvested!!!! I will load some pics on later. Not as much weight as I thought..... But still alot! Came out 78 grams after trimming, cola coming in at 34 grams. I was worried about harvesting, thinking it might be too soon. But I had my 30x hand microscope, and I was observing almost every tric cover leaf I cut and it was ALL very milky with maybe 1 in 10 being amber. I smoked the finger hash (only came out to be about the size of a buger), those four hits got me HIGH! Tomar le facil amigos, hasta en una ahora.

Does anyone think that my flowering has been negatively affected due to the fact that I have been flowering with 6500k as opposed to 27 or 34k?
I used a mix of lights when i used cfl's, and the plants that were closest to the 6500k bulbs had about the same amount as any other plants. Dont worry about it.
