My window is open for harvest. My Trichs are progressing very nicely. The picture I attached is from Saturday. I checked today and I have more Amber so I think I'll pull Saturday. .

  1. What time should I Harvest? AM/PM?
  2. Should I hang the entire plant or start Trimming? Humidity Level between 50-70 where I live.
That's all for now..

Thank you.

The ideal time to harvest is just before the lights come on in the morning.
The plant utilizes light for photosynthesis, and during such time, the roots tend to draw a lot up and send them throughout your plants branches.
It is argued that by chopping before the plant starts another day of photosynthesis, you are improving the overall taste and quality by reducing the amount of "chemicals" absorbed into your bud.

If your humidity is too low, I would advise chopping the fan leaves and hanging whole. If your humidity is very high, I would advise a wet trim into hanging branches.

Spend 10 bucks on an extra.. heck buy a few extra temp and humidity gauges.. 45-55% humidity is great at 70 degreesish. Get it and put it where you plan to dry and monitor beforehand to adjust.

Jalapandro is spot on. But with the humidity your talking, I would cut your branches into 10-18" lengths and cutting them so you have an elbow to hang them on a wire hanger.

I would take off the fan leaves and leaves without "sugar"..basically leaves with stems. Hang to dry 6-12 days... dry trim the sugar leaves off the buds and can

You all Rock. Thank you.

I have a hygrometer that I placed in the location of drying. It has zero light but the tempeture will go from 40 to 70 degrees and the humidity was very low. I purchased a cool mist humidifier and a fan. I will keep vigilant on the hygrometer and adjust accordingly .

I also purchased Humidpak 62's. So get me past the cutting & drying and I should be good.

How much bud do I place in my 1 quart Masson jar at canning time?

I fill them around 85% full.. some say to fill almost to the top so there isn't extra air.

I like leaving at least an inch open on top so I can lightly tap the bottom and move the buds around a bit before u burp the jar.

Just remember, whatever you do, try not to add more water to the bus once it is dried. So try to dial in your dryer room where the temperature and humidity don't fluctuate that much and make sure that you don't can your buds when they are completely dry (too dry) and then add the humidity pack

40 degrees is too cold. The lowest I've gone on a dry is 62-68 degrees and the humidity was low.. 32-45%.. took 6ish days to dry. You might be fine, but I would try to keep that temp above 60
