shield and mylar needed for box?

Hello, new here and was just wondering for a 16"x36"x34" box with the walls covered in mylar if i should worry about a shield? Probably will go with a 400-600w ballast. Plan on having atleast 6 cfls in there with the option for splitters going up to 12 cfls for growing 3-6 plants. I might post pics as soon as i start building. Still trying to plan most the basics out... Any input would be appreciated.

I mean the reflector that the light kit comes with.

Definitely, it'll do more good than the mylar on the walls.

I only ask because i thought mylar had a better light reflecting % then aluminum, which is what the shield would be made of.
