Are you asking because it happened to you? If so, I'd suggest getting your documents together and going to a ganja specialist lawyer who then writes to Canada Post to inquire about why it was not delivered and if they don't have a legit reason you have your lawyer send them a bill. If they refuse to pay it you take them to court for the damages. Because I would think that you've now been put on their radar and it will maybe keep happening to you? So attack them and put them in their place is my suggestion. Is it worth it? Depends on how bad you need your meds and how much you get sent in these shipments.

I'm just gonna echo buckets here. The only way we'll ever be taken seriously, is if we start standing up for ourselves. You have a permit? You are entitled to those meds. Sue them. Better yet use legal aid to pay for your lawyer, make them pay for your fight.

yes it did happen both myself and the sender are legit. we will get right on it canada post knows this is my meds we had to track down the package they had it open for 5 days and never got ahold of us they just said there was a problem but did not know what it was. the tracking showed it still in transit as if every thing was ok but I noticed it was going to the wrong town so we checked into it. I only found out where it really was because a friend of mine is a post master and we use their post office computer which showed where it was. not in transit like they said.

How do you actually package your product? With tracking numbers and the such now a days they really can't "loose" anything. My shipments explains exactly what is in the package and how important it is to deliver in a timely fashion. My MMAR info is also supplied in the packing slip along with my clients (if they want). EVERYONE knows what's in that package...Its legal remember. I don't trust the Canada postal service I prefer a private company like Purolator or any of the big ones. I have an account and all the info is there too. Its surprising how professional they are when they think your not just trying to pull the wool over their eyes. You have to remember that the majority of people are clueless and you MUST educate them, most are more than understanding when the paper trail is all there.

I am not sure yet how my DG packaged it this was the first shipment from him canada post said they are going to expedite it to me right away so we will see how that goes but my DG will not use them any more. he has shipped through canada post many times in the past with no problems but is going to go the route suggested by Sir. Ganga. I will update again when it arrives

Bond weed company is an interesting idea. Other options like using a courier or even greyhound bus service...I like those options and I actually appreciate reading this story so I don't allow this to happen to me. Thanks for posting this experience and I hope you do get your meds and no more harassment!

canada post has now said they expect to have it resolved by the middle of June. i blew up at their investigator so the rcmp just left my house nice guy he suggest sending in a couple of smaller amounts then if one gets stopped the others might get through. will keep up the post till it gets resolved mean while doing without my meds. Canada post claims that it is illegal to ship through them but they give you a insrtuction sheet on how they want it shipped sounds like maybe grounds for a law suit?

Absolutely! If it's not clear to people then sure you have grounds to go and consult with a ganja specialist lawyer. Meanwhile switch to a courier company or go greyhound. But let us know what the lawyer says and what you decided to do about Canada post! Thanks very much for posting this thread as it's a problem many of us face too.

Health Canada told me I should only use Canada Post due to the fact that private companies can open and inspect any package any time where as Canada Post supposedly needs a warrant in order to do so. Not sure how accurate that is but just passing along what they told me.
That is 100% accurate, as a matter of fact, using anything other than Canada Post isn't a very good idea.

well the shipment was held by Canada post because of what my grower did. Canada post will not even talk to me the rcmp have been here but I will not be getting my meds now my grower will not respond back to me what happened is it was sent by my growers partner so once siezed by the post office the paper work did not match up. I will be contacting health Canada in the morning and having the grow lic. canncelled. I do not think the grower was capable of growing anyway as in 4 months they could not grow enough to to keep me going till the next crop and I am only 3 grams a day. yet they are still on this site looking for new patients. after I talk to health Canada I will post the growers info here so no one else gets ripped off. as for my meds I am giving up and going on to morphine full time as I can't wait for another aproval then 3 or 4 more months for a crop to be grown. its a sad world when you have people on a site like this preying on the sick. on morphine I am only expected to live 1 year at the most where as on pot I would have been fine but can no longer put up with the pain for another 7 or 8 months to get set up with some one else and can't afford to buy on the street or else my three young sons don't get to eat. it is because of people like my grower that they want to change the system but it will be to late for me and I could not pay the new prices any way.
Morphine you are expected to live a year but if you smoked pot you would "be fine"? hows that work?

with morphine you are a herion addict you can't eat it attacks your organs and I all ready have heart problems. vaporizing and eating pot has none of those problems and if you ever had to watch some one on full time morphine you would not call it quality of life. sleep 18 hours a day and be a zombie the other 6. even with our so called legal system unless your lucky enough to get hooked up with a true compasionate grower and can wait another 6 to 8 months to get all the approvals in place then grow a crop then you are forced to go under ground. even the compasion clubs in this area are charging $11.00 a gram and I have to drive to the city 3 hours round trip when the crook down the street will sell for $10.00

if your street dealers are breaking it down by the gram @ $10 then i'm not sure what the price issue is here...you should be able to pick up a zip for $220-240 no problem. idk how cheap you expect herb to be but these prices sound very reasonable to me..then again i've never had a personal provider who grows herb just for me. what would the average price rates be when using a personal provider like you spoke of before?

I was at $1.00 a gram and being on a fixed disability pension a 10 fold jump in price I just can't do or my kids do not eat. and with 3 kids in the house I can't grow my own here no extra room and child services take a very dim view of it. there are growers out there who provide free meds as well and some at $3.00 to $5.00 a gram the problem is getting past all the months it takes to get the approvals and growing a crop who can wait 6 to 8 months when you are in severe pain I have no disc left in my lower back and in pain non stop. the doctors had me on 12 percacets a day that was horrible to the point of a attemted suicide you just can't live that way.

I provide my patients their prescribed amounts free of charge. I even pay for overnight shipping when I had an out of province patient. Many others do this as well and I think for the most part it sounds like the standard agreement. More than fair as far as I'm concerned.
