Should I be watering to runoff?

Hmm. Maybe OP should scrape the top dressing off and buy salt nutrients, and forget he ever mentioned organics :P (page 5 now lol)
Problem could be solved by tomorrow. That's the catch, organics need better planning and frankly I think op just wants to keep these plants alive. I think the stress of these deficiencies outweighs the "lack of quality" by using synthetics for THIS HARVEST. OP can do organics next time...

I can't speak about organics because I literally don't know a single organic gardener in person. All the successful growers I know run general hydro or Jacks.

I would pick up an 8oz tub of Jack's for $6.99 and get them fed. The PH works out perfect too, and sounds like OP is running blind on PH.

You won’t have an issue with your moms in what you described. Imo moms don’t need a lot to be happy just a nice top dress every month or two

I think this is great info! If a plant needs something and you KNOW what it needs then its much better to just give it to them , salt or not. Then after you have gotten the plants healthy then the organic food will start working and you wont need another synthetic dose of food.

Cool man. Thanks. I usually just flower in dwc, but I've gotten a couple strains i wanna keep going. I figured soil would be the cheapest way to do that. I'm still new to organic but I believe I'm kinda getting the hang of it. I just haven't gotten to the leaves starting to show deficiencies part and I wanna make sure I'm well informed before that starts to happen.

I've actually had a harder time with bottled nutes in soil than with the organics. I guess I couldn't get the concentration right.

Some of them have to be mixed in the specific order step by step, or it ruins the whole feeding. I remember one of my general hydro nutrients always went in the bucket first. Also, a "three part" generally has 3 to six more parts for a balanced diet too. It could have had a glaring omission, like no cal-mag etc.

Only problem I have had with Jack's classic; I thought my sprayer was over a half gallon, it is really more like 1/4 gallon. I double fed for weeks and got minor but irreversible clawed; and dark green leaves. Still yielded ok, and smoked great.

I flower in dwc so I have gh flora trio, and jacks hydro. I'm pretty good with my mixing. I just don't think I diluted it down enough. I basically had the same problem, dark green badly clawed leaves, purpling stems.Now I'm gonna try to stick with organic in my girls soil. I've seen no tip burn, and so far they're......GREEN! Lol
 
GH flora calls for extra stuff, in soil and hydro iirc. Jack's calls for... Epsom salt lol

I would rather run Jack's CLASSIC than flora "3part" without it's full schedule.
I can't speak for Jack's professional. I used GH when I did DWC. I do use diamond nectar, when I run out I will find a cheaper replacement. R72827ac81f4bb24fac1a22f0fc72f7a9.jpeg

I water to run off. The soil needs to be saturated at watering. That's the only way I know of that works.
 
I don't do organics, so I can do 2 styles, I can water to runoff if I'm really dialed in, or if I'm not, I water to more run-off and do a mini flush with each feeding, both styles work with salts. I understand with organics you don't want to wash away you got in there, but it seems to me that dry bottoms or under watering would be worse.
