Should I buy?

So I'm about to make a semi-impulsive buy after doing a slight amount of research

are these two items a good deal or should i shop around more

You should check out HTG supply, they sell complete grow kits that come with everything...tent, lights, vents thermometers...you can get them in soil and bubble boy setups. Their prices are pretty nice too.

That doesnt seem like a deal at all. I did a little research for you. You canbuy the same light on Ebay for 208.95 and a grow tent that is 5*5*6.8 for 152.50 and free shipping for both. Now compared to what you are buying you are spending $601.90 and what I just found for you is a bigger tent and the same light for $361.45. That saves you $240.45 thats a deal no matter which way you look at it.

u can get a 1000w setup from htg supply, with everything included, save the plants, for alittle over $800.

It's not a deal if it's a lower quality tent. The radiant hood is the best hood available, and I highly doubt you'll get a 6" radiant plus a 600w Lumatek dimmable on Ebay for $208 -- you might find it for $300 if you are lucky. I spent money on a cheap tent, but wish I had forked out the extra $60 for a better quality. If the tent only lasts a year before the seams break and you have to buy a new one, is it really a deal?

I'd check ehydro.com, because they have good prices and service, and will price match any online prices.

I have purchased everything I have on Ebay at a damn good deal and it has lasted forever. I'm not trying to bash any one's input but spending a shit load of money doesn't always mean your getting top quality. You have to read the fine print. Like I said I'm not trying to bash any one's input I'm just giving mine. Anyway now a days I think everyone is trying to save a little money or at least I am its tough out there.

I've bought a lot of decent stuff for good prices on ebay too, but it hasn't necessarily been top quality. The items that the op in interested in are top quality.

OK I will agree with you 100% but I'm just a poor guy so I am an avid Ebayer. LOL

Amazon.com has some pretty killer deals. A whole 1000 set up for about 180-350$.
