Should i cut my fan leaves?

But on to how to make your co2 generator


  1. You need a 2 Liter bottle
  2. 3/16 drill bit
  3. 1/4" tubing (what ever length you need to hang the hose over plants)
  4. glue or silicone (to make a seal on the cap)
  5. 1 cup sugar
  6. 1 tsp yeast (bread or brewers yeast)



  • First thing drill hole then insert tube about 1in in and then apply glue or silicone let dry 24 hours before use.
  • fill 2 liter bottle 1/2 full with lukewarm water(not too warm or it will kill the yeast)
  • add sugar and yeast and shake for 30 seconds

within a couple of hours the yeast will start working and make sure to shake the bottle once a day for 2 days until the yeast gets really going. the bottle last 1-2 weeks. I hope this works for ya and this is something Ive done before not just read it done it lol. oh yeah one more thing the temps in the room will go up because of the co2 but its ok you want it 80 to 89 degrees when running co2.

And what good will it do him in an unsealed room? Just silliness at it's best, makes sense coming from a guy who thinks popcorn is unavoidable.

Sucker leaf makes me think tobacco ...Water Leaves Is the Proper vernacular ...

There is one good way to look at this ...Photosynthesis happens in the leaf when light hits it. This Is a chemical reaction In which the plants resources are used to make sugars. Those Sugars are then used to make Carbon based plant matter (ie Buds stems leaves ect..) In the plant.
So the more leaves you have on the plant the more Sugars it can make and the more plant matter it can produce. When you start trimming leaves, you lose all sugar making potential that leaf had and thus the weight those sugars would have produced. (removing leaves removes potential growth)

The only time I have found It appropriate to Trim the fan/water leaves Was when Removing them Would Un-shade Buds Of other Plants Or In the case of my mom plant so that The very Large Bud Potential that was under the plant could get some extra light After the top was finishing up nicely Already

If your fan leaves are getting in the way Carefully Move them Out of the way if you can (tuck, bend, Wrap, ect) before removing them (if it comes to that)

Cutting off the fan leaves is like trying to make you car run faster by stripping weight and since the engine is heavy you take that out....DOH!

Yeah a lot of people love answering questions by repeating what they read somewhere, some of us do tests on our plants and then laugh at the people who think they know the answer.

I'm very special I need attention and if it's not my advice it won't work cut all your leaves off and you'll grow large buds on 1 ft plants like a whole 30 grams but you will get the weight if you have 30-40 plants and it's just average to veg a plant 1 month and a week and get 1 lb off 3 plants and one of them had 8 zip's of nice buds and 1-1 1/2 of popcorn bud where the light couldn't reach wow

I know I shouldn't be feeding the troll but it's so fun

Could you please Point me there I would Love to Read more about it :) As I stated It was just my opinion This was not handed out as FACT

And as I Harvest A Plant Every Week I'm More More Able To Experiment At a much More Rapid Rate Than Most I would Love to see how these test were conducted

Then how come your opinion (which is not based on testing I presume) comes out sounding like all the other people who say the same thing? You read it somewhere. Guy all you have to do is keep an open mind. Talk about what works for you, not about shit you don't do.

Ummm, no, in fact, if you read my other posts, you would know I have been growing for almost 10 years. AND you would also know that I used to grow big, and now I am a smaller stealth.

]man are you such a th_troll.gif . Do you remember the pic of my og kush grow with the co2 generator hanging? I'm living in an apartment right now and there is no way I'm gonna bring co2 tanks in and out to draw attention plus the co2 burner I had ran on natural gas where would I hook it up to?

Just going by what you "claimed" lol. So now that we know you used Co2 and that you got a lot of popcorn I'm going to change my opinion of your grow from average to poor. Man with that long of a veg, 1000 watters and CO2 you should have been through the roof.

edit: lol, fuck I just looked back at your pic, can't find where you say the C02 generator is but I just noticed you have 2 100? watt bulbs under those plants so you're not at 1000 watts, more like 1200 watts plus the cross lighting from the other 1000 watts and your yield with the c02 sucks donkey balls. You're talking 0.7gpw on your best grow with co2 and that much light. What a waste.

You are a complete retard. I DIDN'T know about using fluros, that's WHY I asked, DUH! OK, I'll spell it out for you... As mentioned, I used to grow big. With a logical mind, you would come to the conclusion I'm not talking about fluorescent light, no? So yeah, I've tried many different types of CO2 injection over the years. Many different types of home brews, different delivery methods, etc. Once I tried tank CO2, there was no going back. But now, my situation is that I must grow smaller and stealthy. I have decided to use fluros in my grow, and thus needed advice on whether or not CO2 was a waste. I knew all along with a sealed environment I would have to inject either way, but what I did not know was whether using it in quantities of 1500 ppm was going to do any good.
Did you get it? I hope so, because I'm not saying it again, and I didn't want to have to type all this crap out in the first place.
You say Japanfreak is a troll, but you sir, are the closest to being a troll of anyone on this board.
You do realize all this fighting for 30+ pages is because he suggested doing a scientific experiment and try pulling leaves on one plant and not another. And then you have drawn this out, being a complete ass, putting words in his mouth, etc, etc, blah blah blah...
He may have done something at another site, and got banned, but that is none of my concern. Maybe he learned his lesson, huh? What I AM concerned with is, how he has acted here, and I have seen him do nothing wrong.
So, whatever dude, I don't care in the least about anything you say. You sound like Charlie Brown's teacher to me...

It's Because of People that have gone before Us that liked to Keep records. They Help Us Progress At a much faster rate than learning By experience. It's what we all do when we read for knowledge, we take it with a grain of salt sure but we use that knowledge none-the-less. If it works it works, if it don't then we read something else.
Now where is said studies tests ect..? this thread is garbage imo if it's the reference your referring to I'm with Brick top on this on Imma need some real proof of this - rip your plants leafs off it's great technique, lolz
