hey all, one of my plants is starting to grow its 7th set of leaves and the motherfucker is short as hell, i have a 2 week old plant that is almost bigger.

I know some folks like a short bushy plant ( thats what i have ) but will it being small lower the yield ( if its a female ).

i have pleanty of room left in my box, should i make it stretch by raising the lights? does it matter? i have kept the bulbs like an inch and a 1/2 away the whole grow so far , im pretty sure thats why its small. but i do want a good ammount too.

You are leaving out a lot of info... What kind of lights, soil, and is it 2 weeks from germination, or two weeks into veg? If you have CFL's you want them at least 6" away from the plant, or you will stress them out and burn them. Stretching a plant is NEVER a god idea....the height doesn't always determine your yield...it has more to do with strain and wether if its indica dominant or sativa dominant. I promise that if you have a Sativa dominant plant you don't need to worry...you should veg for at least 4-6 more weeks, then switch to 12/12 to force flower and withing in 2 weeks of that, you will see it shoot up in height I promise. Just be patient. Growing pot is not for the impatient.

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!
