Today i heard its good to flower indoor plants at like a foot tall. My plants are 20 inches tall. I'm going to start Flowering (I think) but should I start the flower nutes before or after I click them yesterday I put some time release nutes in the soil (man, I was BAKED BAD!) will that fuck up the flower prosess? The NPK was

I would wait until after you start 12/12, and after the first signs of preflowers are showing. Time released nutes shouldn't hurt the plant if its old enough, but be careful when it comes to watering.

I just put them nutes in yesterday. I thought that I wasn't going to flower them 'till Sept 1st. but my cousin said if I don't flower them now they will be too big for the grow room. Now I can't even get ahold of him for more advice. the nutes 10-2-8 i think. 10-something something. will i be ok?

Should be ok. You want a high N for flowering a believe. It would probably be better if you dissolve the nutes in water first so you can control how much your plant uses every watering. What type of nutes are they?

Wrong!!! You want a high phosphorus count in flowering (the middle number) like fox farm tiger bloom it's 2-8-4

Even I know that (growrookie), and there's no way I would try to give advice on here yet. Only if I KNOW I KNOW what I'm talking about. why would you want to risk giving faulty ass advice, like maniac just did? I wonder if that nice seeded baby on his profile pic ever made good buds with all the Nitrogene in the flower stage. Veg. nutes or high in N (nitrogene) not flowering. high P (Phosprorus) is for flowering, right? So I shouldn't start those nutes 'till I start getting tiny buds and pistils??? I have them in the dark right now.

Thanks for the correction. I'm not totally new to growing but I've never really had the money to use nutes.

If you have given them slow release nutes that will be fine. The way to go now is. Just water them for the next 2 weeks. Then and only then start feeding them flowering nutes. The reasoning behind this is that during the first couple of weeks flowering the plant will take a growth spurt and still needs the high levels of nitrogen to do this. As you have given them the slow release nutes already, no need for anything but water, till you switch to flowering nutes.

hey i know its a old post, but when you switch veg nutes to flowering nutes, do you stop the veg nutes alltogethere? and use flowering nutes ?

thanks
