Looking to try Joey Weed's c99 but they are sold out. Would you guys wait for c99 to come back or go with apollo 11 for a good sativa. They have C99 x NL but do not want the indica to over power the sativa. Any help would be great. I like to stay with sativas and from what Ive read c99 and apollo 11 are good yeilders and short flower.

Cinderella 99 aka: Cindy; or C99; or Cindy 99, the original, is a very famous strain and was and still is loved by many. The advertising copy for the original Cinderella 99 began; “This strain may be the "Holy Grail.” In the minds of many even if that was an overstatement it was not seen as much of one.

Its one knock was that for some it was to ‘racy.’ I knew a few people who were lovers of pure sativas that commented on how Cinderella 99 was racy. Even though the original Cinderella 99 was mostly sativa if some people who lived on pure sativas commented on something with at least some indica in it being fast, it evidently can be fast for some people.

If you are one who when smoking a staiva or a predominantly sativa cross it can get away from you a bit and some paranoia creeps in and things are not as fun as they started out being … I would go with the Apollo 11 if I were you. If that is not the case I would say you would likely really love the Cinderella 99 and unless the wait will be very long it will be worth waiting for.

If the wait will be longer than you want to wait and want that bit more sativa there are other options that are good ones. Kali Mist is pretty darn hard to beat and one that I really like that I think never received the attention or fame it deserved is Sagarmatha’s Western Winds. It was the 3rd place winner at Cannabis Cup in 1999 but it was somewhat overlooked. Like any top strain from the past it is just as good today as it was then, of course as long as you are buying original genetics and not a knockoff that would apply. So if someone likes that predominantly sativa high they should add Western Winds to their ‘to purchase one day soon’ list.
