Should I keep pulling the tops back through my Scrog??

I just switched my light cycle to 12/12 , and this is my very first Scrog. I was wondering, now that I have changed the lights to 12/12 do I continue to pull the tops back through the screen or do I just let it grow through the screen?? Any and all info will be appreciated with + REP Thanks

How much do you think I will yield?
I am using a 400 watt HPS light
one 3 gallon pot, filled with Black Gold Organic potting mix
Fox Farm Nutes Grow Big, Big Bloom, & Tiger Bloom
One Aurora Indica Feminized seed
I vegged for 7 weeks

sorry i wish i could help. However, i was wondering if you could explain this scrog stuff to me.
i am a new grower and i am trying several different methods for my first grow. I got a few dwc going a bubbleponics and a dwc bubble ponics. i am tyrying to see what methods work best
i am also trying several different topping techniques.
i havent been able to find a clear explanation of how scrog works or what it does to help
