hello, i was goin to chop my plant, i read online that you should give it 12 hours of dark at least b4 you chop it, if a were to chop it jst after the light goes out, would that make a difference in the volume of THC i get?
it doesn't really make a difference worth fretting over. on the whole it appears to be little more than personal preference and belief. in the same way that a lot of people scoff at flushing while others say it's essential.
No this is not true i suppose it will not make any differance but i persanaly have never known any one do this pratice. At the start off week 7 just feed water ph it at around 7.0 though then do not add any more water what so ever this will see you through to week 8 then harvest.Make sure that the plants are left to dry in a well ventilated area of the house,i use old shoe boxes these seem to work realy well in drying the cardboard seems to pull the moisture out of the buds have a fan ossalating to keep the air moveing.I grow for my own use so i make sure that my next set are ready to go the second that the others have been harvested,But i make sure that i grow a mmount thta will see me through the time of flowering 9 week though because i use the tent to dry any weed that has jusyt been cut by doing this you can utilise the carbon filter soo there is only a limited smell.Once dry 7 days later the next set have been under the t5's and are ready to flower again.
there are a huge amount of people who beleive in the idea of leaving the plant in dark prior to harvesting, under the assumption that the plant thinks it's the end of the world so should throw out thc like there isn't a tomorrow, as said though, it all seems to be educated guesses as opposed to fact. at the end of the day there is not evidence to prove or disprove
