Should I remove the big shade leaves?

So I don't even know if this is something people do or not so I figured I would ask before I did it.

my plant is 3 weeks into flowering(and roughly 3 months old), and it is in a 6" pot. My question is, should I remove the big shade leaves? My reasoning is because the pot is so small, the roots have probably started to run out of room by now. If I remove the shade leaves that will allow the flowers to grow large because they are not getting more nutrients from the roots. Alternatively this might be too much of a shock for the plant and it could die.

can anyone shade some light on this matter?

Thanks
William

Are you growing with a candle? That is some crazy stretching. Your idea literally makes no sense. Stop follicle spraying them. Unless you like moldy bud. It's not going to die if you remove the leaves. It won't give you any benefit though as they aren't blocking anything but soil from the looks of it.

Seriously, what are you using for light? That is a 3 month old plant? poor thing

I wouldn't recommend it. If you remove those big shade leaves then the process of converting light into energy would be reduce drastically leading to smaller buds. Besides, there is less root development during the flowering stage and your plant is focusing more of her energy to making bigger buds. If you want, it looks like you can add some more soil to ur current pot and that can sovle that problem or if you still feel the need to cut some leaves I would only cut the bottom ones up to the third node since they get the least amount of light. But again, you want to put the least amount of stress on her so it's up to you. By the looks of it she is nice and healthy so keep up the good work. :blsmoke:
