Should i remove these lower branches?

Hey guys,

I am thinking of removing these six lower branches ( only holding 2 but thinking of removing bottom 6 ) as they are really small compared to the other branches. I am scrogging for the first time so i dont know how long these would take to catch up the net or if they would amount to very little because the upper canopy blocks almost all the light from it because its so low down. Im in week 4 of veg now and will be flipping the lights in a week or two. Would it be wise to remove them? Does this send hormones to the upper branches to promote growth if i do this and give me a better yield?

I dont have space to grow anymore and i dont know any1 else personally who grows. My grows are just for myself so i dont even have "connections" who may know someone. Apart from missing out on a cloning opportunity would it be good or bad to remove these for plant growth?

I think its really more of a personal preference than anything else. It really won't hurt either way.

My display pic was my first fruit spirit unscrogged. This is another fruit spirit with my first scrog attempt. I have kind of lollipopped also, i'll show you what it looks like on top. I think im scrogging right at least, going to put it into flower in a week or so i think . I'm worried as the where i'm going put the branches during the stretch because the tent is small so i have alot less room horizontally than vertical i think i may be giving myself a headache in a few weeks when the stretch starts.

A proper scrog has nothing under the net, including leaves.
Ok so when should i remove the leaves under the scrog? I was under the impression to leave the leaves alone as long as possible to keep the plant growing and to stop it slowing growth? Like i said this is my first time so any help is great.

Hi, yes remove them.

This will focus the plants energy on the top buds where it matters most. These lower branches will never reach the top of the scrog, so cut them. The plant will reward you for it.
